@POLITICSNGR The Yoruba youth Council has highlighted several reasons why it would not be endorsing President Muhammadu Buhari for President in 2019. The group distanced itself from a planned Yoruba youth Rally in support of the President's Second term Bid. Lopsided appointments, Fulani Herdsmen killings, Economic hardship were among the reasons listed by the group. In a statement obtained by PoliticsNGR signed by the leader of the group, Oluwole Eric and its Publicity Secretary, Lekan Shobowale, YYC denied any involvement with the planned rally. The statement read; "It has come to our notice that a group known as Yoruba Progressive People’s Congress, an arm of a political party (name withheld) led by one Pelumi Amodu is by no means a representative of Yoruba Youth Council or working for YYC. The group in its own wisdom endorsed and called for a nationwide rally in the name of Yoruba Youths as an aftermath of the letter of former President Olusegun Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari. We at the Yoruba Youth Council hereby dissociate ourselves from this plan. We all know this is not a good time for such rally with unmitigated attendance of killings, mass destruction of properties as well as disregard to the principle of federal character through lopsided federal appointment among other reasons. We view this act as only a means by the organizer to deceive Mr. President and scoop monetary gains at the expense of ever dynamic and resourceful Yoruba Youths." https://politicsngr.com/2019-wont-support-buhari-second-term-yoruba-youths/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44 2 Likes

Interesting. The Political season is here and the hallelujah chorister have started again. Truth is, President Buhari should not waste his money(or our money)on these Mushroom Groups, that usually spring up around election period. Same way GEJ was scammed. A large percentage of Nigerians have lost faith in you and your style of leadership. We did not see the Eldorado you promised us,and which made some of us support you. It is about time we Nigerians cut our losses and let you go. One Million Mushroom Organisations,or even the famed Russian BOT's that helped sway election to Donald Trumps way, cannot help you (Buhari)convince Nigerians that the BLACK we are seeing KOROKORO is WHITE. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Yoruba Christians have spoken. We Christians in the SW have decided not to vote for any terrorist who is hell bent in unleashing genocide on our Christian brethren in Benue and other parts of middle belt. After killng people of middle belt, they will definately come for us, dont even think they will stop in Benue, they are coming down south. We yoruba Christians made a mistake by voting for Buhari in 2015 because he has Osibanjo by his side whom we thought would protect the interest of we Christians. But we have realised that Osibanjo is not just only a weak spare tire, but an egocentric fake pastor who's is only there to protect his own selfish interest. I am not surprised that Osibanjo did not react towards Benue killing because hopelessness is all he stands for. Osibanjo did not react towards the killing of one of the members of his church by Buhari's brothers, is it Benue killings he would take action ? We have rejected Buhari for he's not only a disaster to Nigeria but a cancer to humanity. Buhari is a Muslim Buhari is terrorist It shall never be well with Buhari. 4 Likes |

Hunger and suffering doesn't discriminate whether you voted for buhari or not. Even Jonathan got a massive welcome last year in sokoto. Same people that threw stones at him during election. There is massive brain resetting going on but its too late now. 1 Like |
