The Senator representing Kano Central, Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso on Monday announced a cancellation of his January 30 visit to Kano, in a bid to rest the tension generated by the proposed visit.

Newsworth recalls that the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Rabiu Yusuf, had while calling on the former governor to put off the visit, said, “credible Information at the disposal of the command reveals that the proposed visit has generated palpable fears in the minds of the people of Kano State’’.

Addressing journalists in Kano, former Secretary to the State Government under the Kwankwaso administration, Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi said the proposed visit of Kwankwaso to Kano have been shelved till further notice.
