lordgosh:
hello house,

I am a silent follower of this thread.

I was denied student visa today reasons;

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
-length of proposed stay in Canada
-purpose of visit

My program is a two yrs direct entry course at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

I am married with 2 kids which i stated in my application and they are not going with me.
I have landed property which was also stated with supporting document in my application.

Please guru's in the house how do I tackle the raised issues and do I need my gcms note to tackle this.

In short what is the best way to address the issue and then reapply?

Thank You all and please keep this thread alive.

God bless Us all
Order for your gcms note first then the house will take it from there. Sorry about the delay

A very good day to everyone in the house, please I require assistance and would appreciate every single response I'm able to get so that I can make a good decision with respect to my graduate studies.
(I graduated with a 3rd class but would like to further my degree).

1. Can I get admitted to a Masters/PGD program with my grade?

2. If it is possible for me to get the admission, can you help me with higher institutions to focus on (as I understand some schools are certainly more competitive than others)?

3. If the best route for me is a PGD, would I be able to proceed for a masters degree (either in same school or another), as I would like to end up with said degree ultimately.

God bless you Sirs and Madams.

edakun, EPP me...

Bro, your question has been answered by @Austinpee4. Check previous pages and you will see his advise.
To add a little, I don't think schools in Canada accept PGD for MSc. Also you will need do the search for schools offering your intended course on Google by yourself. check out memorial university of newfoundland, uni Saskatchewan and others .
I think your best bet is to go for PGD cos of your 3rd class, though most schools consider your last two semesters grades, if your grades are superb then apply for MSc but if not then go for PGD. Best of luck

Seriously the questions are scattered. The first question means you are yet to gain admission cos you are asking if you need a supervisor or not..........
2. "GCMS NOTE" NO, you don't need it as it is for people that have applied before and got denied. It actually gives a detail reason why the person's application was denied.
3. As for your portfolio, how many years is your intended program and the tuition fee?

You will be notified by mail. You can also track it using the tracking ID you got during the process of filing your application.

Do you have a co-sponsor? cos if your tuition is $13000 then you add your living expenses which should be at least $10000, you will have total fee to be at least $23,000 and that is almost if not more than #6mil.
Try and get a co-sponsor that will support you with more fund.
Also, why are you going for a one year program? visa officers aren't too lenient with people going for such as they just have the believe you are running from naija. I would have preferred you go for a two year PGD program so as to tackle purpose of visit issue

Dear family,

Trust we are having a great day!

I am gathering documents to support landed properties to back up my application in the aspect of economic ties.

I have a land I bought a couple of years back which I put out as rent to a block industry. I have the land survey and lease contract.

I manage the following on behalf of my parents as they are of age;
1. A three bedroom flat which is not presently on lease
2. 4 different plots (60 by 120) on the same street which I am trying to get some block industries to rent them.

Would it be advisable I add my parent's properties to mine as part of what my wife will help me manage in my absence to serve as economic tie? My sponsorship has been taken care of by my brother already. Just need to know if its okay to add the documents as my parents are not sponsoring me.

Thank you

Looking at this, Employment letter of sponsor, 6 months Pay-slip.

I want to sponse myself but my net pay every month is around 10,000 natural because I have taken loan, but I want to get money from other sources to improve my account.

My question is that if my payslips read net pay of 10,000 naira won't it raise an issue with visa officer

But my gross is 113,000 naira before any deduction, should I offset all my loans from the payslip

Hello Travellanders. I am considering applying to Queen's University for an MA Economics. After doing some research, I learned Queen's University seldom admit international students.
I would appreciate information as regards getting admitted into Queen's University.
I am basically interested in institutions that offer fully funded Master program Incase you know any.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Hi guys,

I need advice on something. I'm currently serving and I'll be applying for visa soon.

I'm a partner and part of a team and we are working on our tech startup company. We are still in the pilot and testing phase but our website is setup and functional. As we are yet to get our CAC and the likes, how best would you guys suggest I can leverage this startup as a hometie?

Thanks a lot for your much anticipated assistance

Most time YES and At times No, It really depends on the level of education you are looking up to. Let say you are 30yrs old and you're looking forward towards a degree program. You and I know it's not possible. But for Masters and PhD i don't think there are restrictions for that, you only need to explain your study gaps when applying for your student visa.

Good morning all. Do you think embassies especially Canada confirms ones Account balance from your bank to know if you have funds for your Study Permit and your stay in Canada? Or they just confirm if the statement was printed by the bank that's all without having your bank balance information?
