so the federal govt gave them the bailout fund for free

if it was given for free why did many states rejected it

for ur info the said fund belongs to the state because it is being deducted from their monthly allocation so it wasn't given for free..

Yeah. It is up to each state's house of assembly to investigate such irregularities. With the way governors heavily influence such members, especially when they belong to same party, we know its already a waste of time.

Where I agree with him is that, the investigations is not about State Funds or allocations from FG.
This is about bail out funds they received from FG based on meeting some set conditions.

But what do we know, let each party argue its case at the Supreme court

Provided they have a collateral from u from which they will recover their money, FG has state monthly allocation which serves as collateral from which the bailout fund will be recovered. They should allow the state house of assembly to probe the governor. Okoroawusa of imo state got his state bailout fund too and he still owes workers and pensioners for years now same thing with other Apc governors. FG should start the probing with them.

Pls it's not Fayose that defeated EFCC. It's Ekiti State government. Fayose cannot be sued in person because he's covered by immunity.

This is what i call a bar room or drinking parlour ruling,a jankara/kangaroo.maybe the judge thought that the state also has immunity like the governor.he clearly didnt finish his training at the law school or never read the constitution.am sure both the appeal and apex courts would overrule this ridiculous ruling and lambast the funny judge that set this precedent.how can you tell live a state's probing in the hands of only the state assembly? The judge should be demoted to the customary court.
