How am I wrong when I told you hardly? It is an insult to have even been from you that seems to know nothing about NPFL. Do you know when Emmanuel Daniel and Usman Jonah were still the choices at Rangers? Yes, that is clear case of Daniel being number one, Afelokhai too at Kano Pillars, Iwu at Heartland et al. I agreed there were cases where goalie kept the mandate of number one goalie. Read well abeg.

Meanwhile, I have been on NPFL for a decade. Dnt say what you dnt know. It is like crowning Kazeem Yekeen as Kwara Utd number one when Suraju Ayeloso was still a Unilorin student. After he grad, he had time to play away games while Kazeem played home games. Ezenwa didnt stand out at Ocean boys.


There is some peculiarity in team selection here. Away team is often different from home team that parade matches.

Yes, Ajiboye travelled abroad and had difficulty at some point. Hence, he returned home. He was rejected from Kwara Utd screening for invited players cos they claim he wasnt invited. That was him and Suraj Sodiq. They both went to 3SC and they were welcomed. Dele kept his good work with 3SC and since then, he has been growing in fitness and confidence again. He won the leagu.e with Plateau Utd last season. He is a good goalie.

The best striker, as far as I am concerned, in Nigeria league is Mfon Udoh. Why he hardly get a look in, in this kind of tournament is a mystery.
