Well I will say its not a safe thing to do, but who ever did this is intelligent enough to know that is possible to move an empty 40 footer with a 28 feet truck.

Like I read in someone's Facebook post showing people praying for naija

"Nigeria has got enough prayer session. Lead them to get their PVC and do the voting session"

Most people think only prayer can save us.

This man driving will believe he is using faith while endangering people's safety

Those that are waiting for Road safety to use their all seeing one eye to catch the man should continue talking. In situations like this,, citizens are supposed to report by calling the police or road safety helpline before this man kills people with his stupidity

And for OP, where is your sense of safety, you are driving close to a madman and taking pictures at the same time, who is a more crazy person in this case.

Of course we have to blame him.

This nonsense happened because the authority/institution that is supposed to sanction and checkmate this recklessness is asleep.

And it is asleep because it is never called to question or queried when it derelicts in its duties such as in this situation.

Now tell me,who is supposed to query and sanction the Road Safety Agency - the citizens or the president?

availabilty of good roads would aid that get ti its destination

It's an empty container.....

Being empty even makes it more risky. It Can only be balanced if the major load is at the front end of the container, but even at that, this is still a very risky move

I just discovered that all the monikers defending Buhari on Nairaland bear Yoruba names, but in reality, they are paid miscreants masquerading as patriotic Yorubas.

Obviously, something is wrong somewhere. The Yorubas that I come in contact with every day are never in support of the insecurity, hunger and hardship inflicted upon Nigerians by the present administration headed by Buhari.

No sane Yoruba would stake his/her neck to defend Buhari's ineptitude, massive corruption, nepotism, tribalistic & religious clannishness, zero performance in every phase of life, killings almost on a daily basis, the genocides against South, bare faced lies, the blame games and others which have become the hallmark of the Buhari's administration.

Some miscreants are hiding behind Yoruba monikers to voice out their support for the failed administration, in other to make it appear like a nationwide acceptance of the present quagmire we all found ourselves.

I encourage my Yoruba brethren to rise up to the challenge and stop these impostors from destroying the legacies of the Yoruba Patriarchs and heros past.

Engage in whatever form of politicking you want but don't ever involve any tribalism in your cheap political blackmail. Anyone can vote and support any freaking candidate he desires, you should be more concerned about improving your life.

I know common sense is not common. I am always objective in everything I do no matter who and who is involved. buhari administration is bad , but all blames should not be put on him.

some would want to blame it on Buhari. everything is not about the politicians. an average Nigerian would dare to do this again and again because he put his trust in #100 notes to be served to men on road blocks

Who are the owners of the containers if it isn't majorly the politicians and so called big men. undecided
Re: A Small Truck Carrying 40ft Container In Abuja (Photos) by Originalsly: 12:21pm On Feb 01, 2018
I'm almost sure this is not the first time this truck is carrying this size container..... and OP is not the only person to be a witness. Blame Buhari...blame the Police.... what have those seeing the danger done to stop it? I guess nothing.
@Op.... as a citizen..it is your civic duty to bring the list matter to the attention of those in charge. Take pictures/video even better...get the truck plate and possibly snap the driver...don't want to go to the police?...go to the media...TV station the best...they will be more than willing to broadcast...it will grab the attention of the higher powers. More likely...something will be done about it...if nothing.... you would've done your part...your civic duty to make your community and country a better one. That's how developed countries gother to where they are today....and why this in authority or have power are kept in check.

But it won't surprise me if one police office is sitting in the front sit and escorting the truck to its destination
