Hi, I used Access bank's visacard and it worked perfectly. I think I had to link the card to my google account cos I was charged an amount which was later reversed perhaps just to check that the card is funded, not sure.

@dadR, thanks for the good wishes. I used a Canadian address on my CV (where I lived during my soft landing).

But in addition, accounting filed is lucrative to the best of my research, however, you need to know which sub-area of accounting you want to pursue (e.g, AML investigations, audit, retail accounting, compliance etc) Choosing whichever, requires you look deeply into your passion, your prior experience, totality of your education and what you want to do going forward in a new "working" country

In my own case, the bit of my research shows that what I want to do in the short to medium term does not strictly require the CPA designation like that like that again. Yes, it means writing the papers of the Institute to qualify for the designation.

It is in a manner of writing/speaking common and known with the CPA Institute (if you read their website often, you will be used to the term)

My membership is with CPA British Columbia. I hurriedly applied for membership in 2015 because there was a rumour that they (CPA) will not renew the MRA with ACCA and the rigors of writing all those exams to gain the same membership was not what I wanted to ever face.

Paying that annual membership every year and not using it is not funny, but I had to cos I have plans to move to Canny soon.

I don't think there is an avenue for paying partial fees except one is out of job for a prolonged time or sth sth... I don't remember those factors.
