Being a citizen of Nigeria gives me the right to move , live and make a living in any part of Nigeria I desire. No person should say that they are accommodating me if you neither housing nor feeding me.

I have never heard of Igbos being given free parcels of land in any community in Nigeria.

Now, only people who think in shallow terms do not realise that Nigeria's development has been lopsided from day one.
Before Abuja as the federal capital, Every government agency, every driver of economic development such as the seaport, the international airport, every trade and professional association, every company headquarters were all based in Lagos. Therefore , Lagos and nearby cities were the only places that offered good employment prospects for professionals, tradesmen and commerce.
It is therefore not surprising that Igbos, perhaps the most mobile and adventurous group in Nigeria, flooded Lagos and other urban cities, especially after the civil war that devastated the economic backbone of the Southeast.

Lagos, and later the surrounding cities became the only game in town for young people all over the Southeast.

Now, I do not want to mention the contributions of Igbos to the economic development of the cities and communities that they have been migrating to since the end of the civil war. That's another topic for another thread.

Yea thank you for your long, insightful epistle. Alot of what you wrote up there makes sense but you diverges from the original point of contention which is ' to accommodate'. Nigerians have accommodated your people and have provided the conducive atmosphere necessary for you to thrive, so you should be greatful to Nigerians for being so accommodative of you lot in spite of the obvious negative tendencies that some of you have
