FORMER Military president, Ibrahim Babangida has denied calling for the removal of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general election.

IBB as he is fondly called made this known in a statement he issued on Sunday.

A statement which surfaced online earlier on Sunday and published by several news medium had called on Nigerians to oust Mr. Buhari.

Reacting, the former Nigerian leader said, “Let me categorically state that as a former President and Statesman, I have unfettered access and channel of communication with the highest authorities in the country without necessary going public with a sensational statement. Therefore, the views expressed in the alleged statement are not mine but that of the writer.”

Fake news, I have gone through all the major news sites and non of them has this news moreover, the original statement was issued directly by Kaseem Afegbua who is Buhari's official spokesman. What is the source of this new statement ?

I wonder. Come to think of it, if Buhari is actually unpopular as being peddled by some media outlet, why should he step down? Is it not better to disgrace him at the polls? Are they not sure of their own popularity? Guys should get their PVCs and vote for their choice candidates, no need denying anyone of his electoral right except if they are not confident.

5% are working very hard. Funny enough is just hatred for Buhari because they don't even know alternative yet.
