Interesting analysis from an author trying to promote his site speed testing service. The site speed testing service has no single server on the African continent. A test from within Nigeria would have been way more accurate. Why should Web4Africa be blackmailed with speed tests to Singapore, Sydney, Japan etc when about 80% of our valued clients are in Africa?

We have server hosting equipment across Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa, serving our clients and audience at unbeatable low latency and network speed delivery.

In Nigeria, we deliver a latency of 1ms to most local ISPs. That surely trumps the 200ms+ latency from the USA to Nigeria.

For a website that is chasing a global audience, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) exist to breach the global latency issue. Thus, the location of your hosting server doesn't matter much if you make use of a CDN service that has a really global footprint.

Say your website is hosted in Nigeria, the speed to users in far-flung places like New Zealand, Canada, Argentina, Russia etc would be very fast if the CDN service has a presence in those locations. Some CDN services are CloudFlare, Fastly etc.
beautiful review @ op!

Qservers is a good hosting company, however this review is complete nonsense. Don't make any decision base on this review.

Haba my guy, to lie no be work oo. If you can't reach qservers.net website then it means your IP is blacklisted, and sure the same reason you can't reach your site.

You should put up your domain name also for all to confirm your post, else it's just another fake post or has your account been suspended for fraud?

Abeg!

wow so impressed with the ratings these days on naija webhosting companies especially qservers.
keep up the good work

Some Nigerian web hosting companies are performing pretty well this days I'll say if you're more concerned on website speed and uptime you should try NAIJAWEBHOST.COM

They use LiteSpeed web servers, SSD Storage and have great support team.

https://naijawebhost.com

I wouldn't condemn Qservers but I'll say this my experience with them wasn't a very good one but they are better than Domainking

These are good hosting companies. But first, it is important to use sites that are reliable, have 24/7 customer support and uptime guarantee of up ti 99.99%

I totally agree with you concerning your review on whogohost. Whogohost is so messed up. Back in 2016, I used their hosting service for my website. Few months later, their server or so crashed and all they could send me was an 'apology letter'. I lost all my quality articles that were on my blog because of that. I was so angry.

I wouldn't advise anyone to use Whogohost. Their failure discouraged me so much that I didn't have the nerve to start up another .com blog.

Attached is the message they sent me. I just hope they have probably grown better than the service they offered me 6 years ago.

i personally think naijawebhost.com beats them all when it comes to, features, support and reliability, i've used so many other nigerian hosting firms in the past but naijawebhost is still the best for me.

Even in 2021 Qserver https://www.qservers.net/process/?aff=3594 is still a very great choice for a Nigerian based host, but one Nigerian webhost with excellent reviews and that has really exceeded my expectations is Truehost, they don't have the wahala of many local hosts with an excellent customer support https://truehost.com.ng/cloud/?aff=389
