It is.. It came with Android 7.0

Try using another usb chord.

Check your status bar to see if USB is set to Charging only

Go to Developer options and enable USB Debugging.

Once you plug, swipe down and select Media transfer..

Thanks I've actually done that for a very long time yet it is not connecting though it is giving me a sound from my system that their is an external device connected to it but the laptop is not seen it even when I change it to enable debugging status.

Go to settings on your phone, go to developer options and put on the debugging mode. Try and see if your PC sees, put it off again if it doesn't

The prob is not with your phone but your laptop, win10 or win8 with recent system update have that issue
