Good day everyone.. I have an issue with my infinix hot 4pro for over two days now since i updated to the new nougat software.. My home screen has been blank since i completed this update All my phone apps are all hidden and i can only access it through the "Google Play Store" including my "messaging" and "contact".. when i double tap on the "back" sensor, the screen goes blank.. Now my network goes off and only comes back on after i reboot my phone.. Please i need assistance asap, this is really frustrating me..

I think the only way to get it fixed is to format your phone... But there might be another sha...but that's what I think it's the best to do

Trying to upgrade my hot4pro to Android 7.0 from 6.0 but all efforts fail and I have enough space on my phone and SD

Press the soft button by the left of home button, u will see opened apps. Hold anyone down for few seconds, u will see "drag here to split screen " drag it up

Thanks, i just did a factory reset. The OS upgrade remained afterwards.

However, i am having this problem with the OS; apps i launched cant be killed by swiping off. Anyone having the same issue with the upgrade?

That's because they're locked as shown on the screenshot uploaded.
Just click the 'Padlock' sign to unlock them. Then you can swipe them off.

Your phone is legit. Same as mine which is the 16+2 A1 variant (check the lebel on the battery to confirm). Seems like Infinix built ours with the MT6735 chipset instead of MT6737.

Please how is the battery life on your phone? Mine seems not to last.
