I hope these institutions will be funded properly.... Cos thats the most important aspect.

Quality over quantity. How well are they maintaining existing ones?

In my opinion, skills acquisition centers would have been the best because most schools graduate job seekers.

Every Igbo man knows imo is for education, Anambra business, Abia industry, Ebony agriculture and Enugu Entertainment i.e movies.

Rochas has always been a champion of education with his numerous foundations and his inauguration of free education in imo state from primary to university level

Rochas did not build those institutions as new ones rather he merely built new campuses for different faculties.

The one at Onuimo is an extension of IMSU ( faculty of engineering).
Aboh now hosts faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary of IMSU.

The structures of the campuses have been built and ready for academic activities that's what he meant by saying new universities.

These areas where mapped out by Enwerem's government as future permanent sites of the aforementioned faculties but successive governments lacked political will to accomplish the project.

Owelle has done it and instead of commendation you're offering condemnation probably for political purposes. Be careful!

Stop writing thrash. The Orlu teaching hospital built by Udenwa was a kitchen line until Okorocha built most of the structures you see there today. The 27 hospitals have been completed and few remain only equipping. Here is one of the several completed hospitals for people to judge.

Stop writing nonsense. The 27 General Hospitals were ill conceived by Okorocha to kill the Imo State University Teaching Hospital in Orlu.

Orlu made Okorocha governor not knowing that Okorocha had an old grudge against Orlu.


See Prince Hotel Orlu and Orlu Stadium started by Okorocha after he demobilized Orlu stadium huilt by former governors. Today the seats and floodlights of the old stadium are rotten - tens of millions of Naira gone.. He could not finish the new stadium in Orlu. He started building new stadium and hotels in his hometown, Ogboko in Ideato south lga..
