I don’t undertand what you people gain in sharing this?
We have many western developed countries like America.
Why always about U.S. why are you so obsessed with the country?
I don’t say USA is paradise, it has many flaws but not as bad as you people portray it.

Most of these homeless might not be because they are poor, most of them are destroyed by drug or personal problems.
Getting a job to pays rent (even shared apartment) and eat burger is the easiest thing as a citizen or with right paper in America.
Mc Donald’s hires everyday, before you walk within 10 minutes, you will see “we are hiring” jobs without backgrond Checks even felon person can get.

I pity those peeps that wasted time to argue with you. They thought you had experienced life both in the U.S and Nigeria!! So you're just a village dude with a visa ban lmao.

So because someone is stating the obvious you accuse them of being anti-american? The article on market watch, was that also written by a Nigerian?

Look, even Americans know america has problems and acknowledge that. Then comes you a Nigerian who now wants to defend America more than the indigenous Americans themselves. When last did you defend your country Nigeria?

We live in an age of technology. Nothing is hidden under the sun. In America, without credit cards, most Americans will be living a hellish life. Debt is the way of life in America. I lived in the US for so many years so I know.

No country is perfect and only ignorant people will believe you Nigerians who try to paint a false picture of America. I wonder what you stand to gain doing that. Maybe so that your citizens back in Nigeria will worship the ground you walk on when you come home to visit once a year for Christmas.

Ahhh! More of them shocked
I'm not an American(US) person either,
But which "Nigeria" re you from?

well America is FAR ahead of Nigeria so what's your point?

There may be scandalous poverty /inequality in the U.S.; but in every metric, Nigeria is worse cheesy

it's clear for all to see

You are still living in the lies of the American dream. over 62% of Americans are one paycheck away from living on the street. If Americans wages are delayed for just a week more than 62% of her citizens will be lying on every street corner. In a country where over 70% of her citizens can't boast of $500 in an emergency and over 50% will die in debt, we need to start telling ourselves the truth

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/most-americans-are-one-paycheck-away-from-the-street-2015-01-07

Just so you know, your $hithole country in a $hithole continent has MOST people in the rat race

If most Nigerians (especially in the informal sector) stay out of the hustle for just two days, they are in big shit

That's why you see so many suffering and smiling; hustling from Monday to Sunday, no break, because if they do break; they will be in big shit?

How about the suffering salary earners in Nigeria having theur salary and earning power reduced by over 100 % due to crippling inflation and naira devaluation......

Naira slipping from 150 -160 to 400 + now 365 has eroded the purchasing power of your $hithole currency

I can go on and on, but hey, we know the truth

America is having inequality problems

Nigeria on the other hand is an economic disaster

more like it

America has serious problems cheesy grin

Nigeria on the other hand have apocalyptic problems that could destroy the country in 10 years if not tackled....

Since I came back, I have seen more and more how our country has slipped in the abyss of becoming a failed state.

And to think that Buhari still stands a chance of winning a second term means that Nigerians love to suffer cheesy

What a COUNTRY

Amid the Cold War, the Third World alluded to the creating nations of Asia, Africa, and Latin America, the countries not lined up with either the First World or the Second World. This use has turned out to be generally uncommon because of the completion of the Cold War.

Please. Nigerians flourish in America. They are very ambitious for education and a better life. I've known many many successful Nigerians who make a good salary and even send money home to relatives. If you want to make it you will and most Nigerians in America go above and beyond.

Most homeless have a drug addiction or a mental health matter. Illegal immigrants from south of the border tend to live to live with many people in one house or apartment, not related and or multiple relatives. American culture is that when you can move out of the nest you do such.
California is really expensive to live there, especially in the large population centers.
