The earlier we stand together and fight this government, the better for us. It is benue turn today, it could be enugu, osun or rivers tomorrow. We need to be united in this front to stop this murderous mad man in power. We can't sit back and watch them do what ever they like. #BuhariAndFulaniMustBeStopped

This is the height of it. Kettle calling pot black. You are questioning a DPO on response time, sounds so good.
I remember Mr President ordered you to move down to Benue State for close to a month now. Have you responded to that order?

Which DPO has ever been questioned over Herdmen attack in Nigeria ..which one?
God punish all these muslim police IGP and COMMISIONERS, thousands of christians have been killed by these fulani marauders yet no DPO has been called question.
BUHARI IS SPONSORING STATE TERRORISM.

Ask them ooo. Where is Bakila? This is what I was talking about before elections. Bubu is a religious and tribal bigot. Nigeria is in deep shit.
You are the tribal bigot, riding on the blood of the Tiv/mvinorities and Fulani to score a political point. How dare you, respond to PaChukuwdi a confirmed tribal extremist, to mention me.
You sponsors of destabilisation should stop! The idea that the votes of the Minorities in the Middle-Belt, through the Fulani Herdsmen-Tiv crisis will help PDP win the next elections presidential will not work.

Armchair tribal jingoist, it is your type that keep fuelling inter-tribal conflict by spreading such obvious hateful lies that must have originated from your deceitful mind and/or evil propaganda network without a shred of evidence at all - pls show proof where the Emirs called for Jihad.
Nobody, I repeat nobody goes about killing and maiming without a reason - you keep blaming the Fulani of killing as if such killings is restricted to them alone; while also ignoring the reason behind the killings when they occur.
You said it all. " nobody goes about killing and maiming without a reason." So na only fulanis get reason to kill and maim? Hypocrite.

You are beginning to sound cowardly, bro. Listen, I don't even know who PaChukwudi is. Just read his comment and felt the need to call you out. Buhari has failed Nigeria. Aisha, Zara, OBJ, Momodu,Bakare, and host of other northern faithfuls, have all called out your "paper tiger" masquerading as the president.

Each time l call you out, you resort to insult. Always claiming that we are playing politics with the blood of the dead. Meanwhile, it is you and all those who are not saying anything that are playing politics with the dead.

Stand up for the truth. You see how the government reacted quickly and sent in soldiers, because 7 fulanis were lynched. This same government refused to send the army to Benue when more than 70 people were slaughtered. You spot the difference in government reaction to the two unfortunate events? Alhaji Magodo's killers have been arrested, those who lynched the 7 fulanis arrested as well....hmmm, what about the killers of Benue people? All militias must be disarmed...really? What about the AK47 wielding fulani herdsmen?

Bakila, you use to make some sound arguments in the past. Nowadays you sound bereft of wisdom and courage. Everyone can see the double standards being played by Buhari. Even if you are a fulani, deep inside you, you will know that the rest of us are not being treated fairly by this government.

If you decide to vote for bubu come 2019, that's your problem. We will all suffer it. Keep pretending that bubu is our saviour. angry angry sad

When did Fulani and Tiv people started their clash? What is Munchi and Agwai? What kind of militias do we have in Nigeria today? What are the effect of all the renewed social media-celebrated clash between armed militias and bandits on the economic and socio-political relations of Nigeria?
If you are bold enough to answer some of the above, it means you have gained knowledge. We can continue with a decent conversation. I refuse to play politics with the callousness of people like you encouraging death in central Nigeria.

Bakila, I don't know who Munchi and Agwai militias are. But why didn't you mention the herdsmen here? Same tactic the FG and military use. U can't disarm militias and leave herdsmen to wield AK47 at will.

As per the social media, I may agree with you that fulani losses may not always be represented fairly in the media reports, but so are the losses an average Nigerian suffers in the course of running a business.

People get robbed, kidnapped, killed and their business premises destroyed, yet nobody goes about killing people in the communities where these attrocities happen. Cattle rustling is a biz hazard. So is the highway robbing of business travellers. None, and I mean none, calls for the killing of any Nigerian.

I wept for the 7 innocent fulanis. I could relate with their plight. Paying for the sins of others. Well, so do others pay in the hands of herdsmen. It is the reason some of us are calling out buhari. If u remember very well, i objected to the choice of buhari and I pointed out his antecedents in the past, but you presented an argument based on the premise of change. Fine. We have the change now and it is not what we had hoped for.
I still feel that you are disappointed in bubu but lack the courage to speak up. Which is a shame. I asked you some pertinent questions concerning the obvious double standards, which you have side-stepped. Your silence and that of buhari, is what I call "playing politics with the dead." Do you want the rest of us to keep quiet while middle belt is overrun by herdsmen? God forbid. I will keep calling you out till you apologize to Nigerians. grin grin grin

Listen, I don't know why my northern friends are always avoiding talking about the massacres going on in MB. It is very disturbing, to say the least. You guys claim that Hausa-Fulanis are misrepresented by the media, yet you avoid presenting your case here. Since you appear to know the situation better than some of us, why don't you use the opportunity provided by this forum to lecture us? Keeping silent in the face of injustice is evil. If herdsmen have a good case, present it.

You have no idea how some of us feel, just I am unaware of the feelings of northerners. That is why we have to talk. Present your side of the story. Don't sweep things under the carpet. Don't bottle up your feelings. It will help all of us.

I am sorry for the lengthy post. When we stand together, we win. Divided we fall. Enjoy your weekend and my regards to your family. Peace.

The biggest hypocrite is the one who believes that the Fulanis are the only ones doing the killing against peaceful locals who are so innocent that they cannot even kill a fly.

Left alone, a hypocrite like you would believe these butchered Fulani children in Adamawa committed suicide.

No, these kids were brutally slaughtered. We must condemn the perpetrators. The questions everyone is asking are; why are herdsmen roaming around with AK47? Why are fulanis perpetually in enemity with every other tribe?

Let the government allow locals to defend themselves by any means, or disarm the herdsmen. You seem to believe that fulanis have the monopoly of violence and long memory. Hmmmm. The Fulani never use to carry AK47 but a simple stick to herd their cattle; until they started being robbed and killed by locals.

Their weapons are for protection not aggression; however, as very fearsome warriors their success at extracting revenge, not minding that they are often the initial victims, is what is now giving many of you heart ache, I am sure if it were the other way around; many of you politicising the crisis would not even bat an eyelid.

No, they are not hated by all other tribes but only by some in certain parts of the country where being encouraged through media propaganda.

No I don't agree they have a monopoly of violence otherwise they wouldn't have also been victims of attacks and yes; they do have a long memory along with a culture of revenge.

And yes, everybody has a right of self defence - the Fulani included.

Every venture in life, has its hazards. Traders get roobed daily in Onitsha, Kano, Lagos, etc. That's the cost of doing business. Cattle rearing is not different. Traders don't carry AK47 to protect themselves from armed robbers. Why are you so bigoted? No civilian is allowed to carry arms. The last time I checked, herdsmen were not part of the Nigerian Military. Stop justifying evil and double standards. angry

My question did not require answer...it was my intention to call out the double standards as being practiced in Nigeria. Herdsmen carry arms to defend themselves, and that's okay, abi? Why is it that the igbo traders or Ijaw fishermen can't openly carry AK47 to protect themselves and their businesses from robbers? Cattle rustling is not different from armed robbery.

My good friend and brother, please, I beg you in the name of God, eschew relìgious and tribal bigotry. We can all live together harmoniously. I had hausa-fulani school father and school son in those days. I consider them my brothers any day, anywhere.

I hate to read that fulanis never forget....blah blah blah.

What a silly and ridiculous statement of contradiction - did you actually wrote that?

"my question did not require an answer"- if so, then why ask in the first place, why waste ppl's time when you are not ready to engage me in an honest intelligent discussion?

The Fulani did not use to bear arms like AK47 because they and their cattle were previously relatively safe from attacks and robbery, until recent times - its called self preservation - for the same reason the locals are forming militias and also bearing arms themselves; all of which are a manifestation of the breakdown of law and order where various generations of government have failed to adequately provide security and justice to its citizens; resulting in loss of confidence and ppl taking the law into their hands.

Your only grouse is that the Fulani appear to have an upper hand in this unlawful struggle - ppl like you would have been dancing to a different tune had it been the other way round.

Your analogy with Igbo traders etc are not comparable because their operational environments are not the same; besides giving an explanation to what's going on doesn't equate to condoning it - the bigotry and tribalism you see resides only in your eyes and mind; not mine.

Sorry if you do no like my answer - you are entitled to your opinion just I am entitled to mine.
