Mariangeles:Many people have been saying this same thing but it's been from worse to worst. Some even say God will not allow them, plus they will not succeed in Jesus or Allah name. Keep deceiving self without been proactive. Fulani squads are everywhere in Nigeria waiting for the ultimate time to strike. All these are mere preliminaries. |

The average Nigerian man’s thought process really baffles me sometime. Someone posted a video showing a group of armed militia intending to cause harm to a group of defenseless Nigerian southerners. Instead of people to demand action, the general response is “what makes you think the video is real?”, “how are you sure this video was shot in Nigeria?”, “The language doesn’t even sound Nigerian seff”. WHAT PROOF DO YOU NEED PEOPLE?? We are talking about life and death here and people are asking stupid questions. Wouldn’t the right response be for us to come together and request concrete answers from our leaders? Wouldn’t the right response be for us request that a task force be put together in order to perform a proper investigation (which will include visiting these communities and know herdsmen sight locations) to get to the bottom of all this? Instead of the government officials sitting in their air conditioned offices discussing rubbish. This was the same type of thought process that led to the present predicament Buhari’s government has put us in. A group of individual came out, promising “Change”. No one bothered to ask is it “Good-Change” or “Bad-Change” because as far as I am concern both are “Change”. To be honest, APC gave us what they promised “Change” because no one bothered to hold them accountable before voting them in… And they laughed when I voted KOWA. I am going to forward this video to everyone on my contact list and make calls to some of the influential people I know. Hopefully this action will get things started to save lives. |

Boko Haram game required $2 billion to conquer. Boko Haram is now fading. The new boys in town are the Fulani Herdsmen. This is how these stupid people started d scam called Boko Haram by ignoring and giving them free hand to degenerate into full fledge terrorist. I guess they want the herdsmen to be a Nationwide thing. By dis time it will be a big a project. We need to banish some of the wicked souls in this country. |

OyinO:People like you only know how to complain without proffering solutions...you're probably one them atheist who take out their frustrations on other people's mention. You're always offended by GOD, yet you can keep GOD out of thoughts and words...What a miserable way to live! Anyways, just in case you care to know, We can all do something by being alert... just as this article alerted many people on this platform. |

Tayroc:One intelligent person. I have a few theories : 1. The desert is enroaching on northern Nigeria and this herdmen issue is pretext for a land grab. 2. Buhari might not be directly behind this, but he is witholding censure because he needs political support. 3. Buhari knows what's going on and doesn't give a damn what you and I think because he sees his larger mission as support for his tribe rather than progress of Nigeria. 4. Other forces outside the administration are using the herdsmen issue to destabilize Buhari's government. 5. The 'fulani herdsmen' may be a reincarnation of Boko Haram. Since Boko Haram was used successfully against Jonathan but has now been 'defeated' they are a replacement. 6. This is part of a plan to divide Nigeria, perhaps oil has secretly been discovered in the north. 7. This is part of a plan to disrupt voting in states that are likely to turn against APC in 2019. 8. This is part of a larger international conspiracy whose dots we have not yet connected. Any one or combination of these might be the answer. |

MIKOLOWISKA:And what are you doing about it as a citizen...? or you only know how to complain? You think others are responsible for your safety and not you for others? All you atheist, what is your purpose in life since you don't pray but only complain and curse and complain...it's a vicious circle and it never stops. As Christians, We pray first then we speak out with boldness, we act...We are ready to die for the truth, for what we believe is right...That is the life of a true Christian. |

This does not prove anything new more than we already know. Of course the Fulani have armed militia, they are the armed wing of the herdsmen; sometimes they can also have splinter renegade groups who kidnap, kill and/or rustle cattle from their own ppl; however, these militia are primarily for reprisals (after they have been touched) formed on ad hoc basis whenever the need arises, from an existing brotherhood network of Fulani clans which extends throughout most of west Africa, such clans may contribute 1 -3 or more of their warriors towards a specific attack group. The video showed an attack group preparing for such raid; they were the ones filming themselves against the author's claim of filming them using body cam - he was just forming heroics. Occasionally these kind of videos come into possession of law enforcement agents after capture or found on the body of a dead warrior - and subsequently leaked into the public domain (as we can see now). I have also come across similar video showing a tribal militia (probably Taraba) before and after similar raid against the Fulani, they used dug-out canoes to reach their target where they slaughtered several of the Fulani cows; laughing and celebrating about it. Bottom line, such kinds of incursion between the Fulani and farmers will continue until both sides are guaranteed justice and adequate compensation where violators are brought to book whenever their rights are infringed upon; otherwise they will continue to find cause to take the law into their hands - its as simple as that. |
