A North Korean delegation led by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's younger sister Kim Yo Jong and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Kim Yong Nam leave the Incheon International Airport in South Korea.


Kim Yo Jong was surrounded by North Korean special agents as she touched down in the South.

The delegation's trip is the diplomatic high point of an Olympics-driven rapprochement between the two Koreas.

The ceremony started with five children setting off on a quest to find peace, which has become the theme of the games.


The children were accompanied on their quest by the White Tiger, one of the four guardian gods and protectors of peace.

Alongside the huge puppets were spectacular light displays and thousands of dancers wearing traditional Korean costumes.

It's embarrassing really

It's Winter Olympics dear, not the regular summer Olympics. All the sports there are snow and ice based and you remember we don't have winter in Africa.
Those 'few' Nigerian ladies trained themselves (ofcos they reside in the US) and they qualified for Bob sledding. They are the first and only Africans to qualify for that sport.
I hope that explains why 'we are so few'?
