So let me get this thing straight...the plane was taxiing and then the pilot said he saw the cabin light go on for about 15 secs and off...When planes are on high-speed flight mode, they attain a speed of over 400kmph...when they taxi, speed is about 75-80kmph...now let's do the math...

The highest speed a human can attain while running is about 28kmph (34-40kmph for athletes)

Which normal human can be under the cabin hold of an aircraft taxiing at the said speed, open the highly pressurized cabin door as if na Danfo boot, take away or drop in something and shut it...all while the plane is taxiing?

The light that came on might have been a glitch in the switchboard since Nigeria sabi buy overused aircrafts

The pilot and the so-called security operatives should be flogged for wasting the passengers' time!

Nigeria is a big joke, how can criminals gain access to a runway? So who and who was in charge?

It is only in MMIA you will see people at both the arrival and departure are actually more than the people travelling ,that place is like a market truth be told 80% of the people at naija airports have no reason to be there ,that is our national entrance atleast it should be much more organised and people screened thoroughly before allowing them access to these areas .It is very shameful even the officers at passport control and arrival beg for tips and all that

It means no lead security patrol on the runway area prior to aircraft departure. No security lightings or suitable surveillance of the area around the runway.
The area is possible darker than night.

I feel the cargo end was either opened by those staff incharge of loading in attempt to steal or in error forgot to close it properly.
There is no way one can sneak to the plane via the runway. The distance is much to hide unnoticed.
Only airportstaff gets close to plane during loading....

exactly, most have been an oversight or an attempt at stealing. good to know that the pilot was professional enough to insist on total search of the aircraft for explosives and co before take-off. This bloggers and their caption eh.

airport staff has thieves among them but they operate as a one man or @ most 2 man robbers..to rob a Taxiing airplane, you need @ least 5 robs.... Dos guys either scaled the perimeter fencing or they passed the bush part

How could thieves tampering with the doors get entry into the runway amidst security guards?

In a country where so much security treats are possible, 15 secs is still enough for an insider dropping explosive devices and walking away.
