so season one is into episode 12 already and i have to confess, i am shell shocked! i never saw this coming! as in, my imagination never strayed to that possibility! Captain Gabriel loca is actually from the alternate universe! damn! and he actually played it so cool that even empress georgio didn't see him play his tactical slight of hand until he had her at a serious disadvantage! and to have been able to tactically manouever, co-opt and eliminate the Micheal byrnum of his universe! damn! i am scaredly impressed! that a classic way of playing the long game!
plus he must also have orchestrated the death of the Gabriel loca of this universe because what are the chances that a whole ship's crew was killed but only its captain survived!

well, better late than never, besides we need to breath life into it, hoping the season finale and season 2 will bring the faithfuls and also, will they ever cross paths with the enterprise?
given the intergalactic war against the Klingons one will expect starfleets finest, kirk, Spock, MC coy and crew to be present at the attack on QoS nos or is it kronos

Was boring before, got better in this second half of the season. Still rate TOS to be by far better.
Also, The Orville by Seth Macfarlane seems to be more star trek like than Discovery.

Abeg, all you Orville people enough already. Even with all its Trekkie-ness doesn't make it a better show, so make we hear word. People rate TOS highly simply because it's the original and folks got their rose tinted glasses on.

Lol. It actually is a better show, in my opinion anyway. The whole point of Trek was to make commentary on burning social issues, this Orville does perfectly with great comedy to boot. I've watched TOS through recently again and it still stands up to the time test. I like how every episode is different (unlike discovery) rather than serialized. The captain was more likeable and capable as a leader, he always knew what to do no matter how dire the situation.

Anyways i was skeptical about dis series until i downloaded d 1st episode and i was not disappointed....now let's see what Michelle ll do to d klingons.

actually the season finale though mature and true to star fleet principles was anticlimactic! was looking forward to an age old Klingon/federation bloodbath! well, on the more climatic flip side, pike and the enterprise are back for season two, i guess kirk, mc coy and Spock haven't earned their stripes yet
