Much ado about nothing.

Omar Bashir had been indicted by the ICC for greater war crimes 10 years ago, has he been apprehended? No.

Have African leaders given him up since 2008? No.

All the half-witted fellows giving themselves hi-5's over this development clearly do not understand that where ICC's powers end is where Nigeria's rights as a sovereign nation begins.

Anyway keep hope alive wink
The day Omar al bashir will be apprehended and handed over to the Hague will be breaking news. Just wait and watch for the right time. He should keep travelling around the world and one day will be one day. Those few places he's been to have not arrested him and they have come under pressure. The day he will step foot where he's luck will run out, his case will be like Charles Taylor's who was handed over by his asylum host, obasanjo. For the fact that bashir hasnt been arrested does not mean he's not a fugitive. If European leaders like milosevic have been arrested, like I said, just wait for the breaking news.

When will ICC prosecute Obama and bush
Did the USA and the UK sign to be under the jurisdiction of the ICC? They didn't ratify the Rome statute. So you are only held liable for what you signed and agreed to. Not that the ICC can't handle them if it had the jurisdiction to. Nigeria is a part of the jurisdiction of the ICC.

USA is not but UK is. That's why sensible people are asking why Tony Blair is still walking free after the atrocities he and Bush committed in Iraq.
