I have thought of it as a solution but on a second thought, meat boycott will not stop them. They also kidnap when they run short of money. So whether you buy their meet or not, it has no effect on them. The only solution is for all states to set up armed vigilante groups. And individuals should have some form of arms to defend themselves when necessary.

Southerners must unite to solve this crisis. If not, the kind of famine that will soon hit us will be monumental. I for one can't think of investing in a farm land and am sure there are many guys who are discouraged too as a result of the herdsman menace.

This is no longer daily again, The increase of killing and butcering in Fulani Herdsmen is now every hour, Another woman from Urhobo has been macheted by them while she was farming this morning around 7.30am in ofunwengbe community, in ovia south west LG of Edo State

The elderly woman was with her daughter when her ear was also cut off..

According to the woman, the Fulani herdsmen entered her farm and met her working before she knew what was happening, the herdsmen were trying to rape her by pointing gun at her but for her determination and boldness, she was able to drag the gun from him.

During the process of dragging the gun, another one of them used her machete to butcher her and her child.
The child has since be taken to the specialist hospital in Benin.

They are disguising as herdsmen but their modus operandi looks Al Qaeda judging from how synchronized their attacks are in the Sahel region, unfortunately, in a country like ours, serious issues are viewed through ethnic and religious lens first before common sense.
