Goodmorning House,
Pls can someone assist me with the estimated foundation cost of a 4 BEDROOM FLAT in PH.
An engineer gave me a quotation of 320k with 3 coaches above ground level.

Is it ok to erect a bungalow without enforcing d 4 ends with rod and also not making d floor DPC frm d start?

NB: I have seen 2 of his projects and they are not looking bad.

What materials do u have on ground?
320k for a four bedroom foundation is definitly going to be an incomplete foundation without filling & german floor
@bold U can build without reinforcing the edges since it is a bungalow, but u must ensure your blocks are of good strength, not the 70 blocks per bag kind of mix. But for DPC it is best u do it from the start, it solves alot of future problems.

I was thinking DPC is necessary to avoid soaking/wetting. But I hv plans of making d compound German floor at once.

Yes sir, DPC is very necessary. It may cost some money now, but will save u alot of problems in the future that maybe difficult to resolve. Try to do it if u can raise the money.

@bold by german floor u mean concreting the entire compound?

Kindly make use of reinforcements to enhance stability and also prevent cracking due to uneven settlement.
Make your substructure block work(Foundation) higher than the aforementioned 3 course depending on the ground level
