The number of Christians in the North is more than that of Muslims. This is the main reason they keep attacking Christian dominated areas in the North in order to decimate Christian population. The Muslim leaders are in full support of the subjugation of Christians and other minorities. It's a very bad situation.
Am a christian but hate all this religious supremacy contest.it is stale.how can there be more christians in the north? What if i say there are more muslims down south? This your new found allegations i because the former postulation and believe of the south being more populous than the south collapse.i can believe that christians are slightly more in the north not in the south.

When Ortom was always licking the slack hairy balls of buhari, he was just like a mere ekukè dog, but since Wike paid him a visit, he's now a Lion. A brave one at that.

That's what I like about Wike and that's what I love about the PDP.

God bless Wike

God bless Ortom

God bless Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

God bless the PDP.

Ibori for president

Would you believe there is also a sizeable population of christians in Bakolori province of Sokoto state ?
They voted massively for Awolowo which led to the Bakolori massacre under the NPN government of Shagari.

Matter of fact, the claim of a populous muslim north is a falacy and a fraud.
An authentic population project during IBB's reign recorded a higher christian population than muslims in the north. That was why the results were never allowed to see the light of day.
I pray God to help these associations.
Sir, do you have the statistics?

If your not dumb, you will decode my sarcasm and mockery of that guy's unfounded claims.i likened his statement of christians being more in the south to someone saying there are more muslims in the south than north, dont misunderstand me or get it twisted.abusing or insulting people without understanding their perspective is deplorabel.

Thanks for pushing this direct question to him.theoretically in the north without any stats, its generally believed almost rightly that adamawa religious population is 50 50,taraba and plateau are mainly christian states, kogi has more muslims slightly, gombe is mainly islamic with a strong christian minority same as borno and bauchi and kwara, niger.nasarawa is 50/50,kaduna is slightly more islamic, benue is totally christian dominated.borno, jigawa, katsina, kano, zamfara, sokoto is totally muslim dominated.kebbi is mostly islamic except in zuru emirates which is a minority area.yobe is totally muslim dominated.having pockets of christians in few towns or enclaves in kano or sokoto is miniscule in the total calculation afterall there are muslim enclaves and settlements in ebonyi and all other southern states.

Thanks.
Beginning from this year, we the educated and enlightened youth of Benue will stun the Northern oligarchy. We are not only determined but have also vowed to rescue Benue State from the evil grip of Arewa. We say no to the mischievous "One North" tag. We are turning to the South. Benue has absolutely nothing in common with Arewa. The British made a mistake by putting Benue with those people, and our forefathers were deceived.

Paul Unongo is the chief traitor! Followed by Waku. Their penchant for remaining in perpetual servitude of Arewa is legendary. But this time around, the game is up against them.
Thank you so much.

This part of his speech is especially most unbecoming of a leader, a governor, in present times for that matter.
He is clearly being most divisive and inciting his ppl along tribal lines.

Ortom also said the attacks on Benue is an act of vengeance by heders for losing the 1804 Jihad. He said Benue people stopped them from penetrating the state through Sokoto.

Mr. Man, I am a full blooded Benue indegine. Simply because I refused to be decieved you call me a Fulani. Bull crap! Do you know how many people have died as a result of non payment of salaries? Primary school teachers have not been paid for a year plus now, do you know how many families that have been displaced due to poverty? Talking about the heards men attack, how many people were murdered in cold blood in Agatu local government last year? Our governor went to Agatu and told the villagers to learn how to live in peace with their Fulani country men? Correct me if I'm wrong. I am totally in support of any move by the governor to end this senseless killing but I refused to be blind..He has failed in other areas and he is trying to use this to cover up.

I am aware of such organisations. Two precisely.

I am a Social Researcher with specialty in Political Behaviours (why people vote the way they do). On a mission in Katsina I found out about 35% of Katsina Indigenes are Christians.

So it is not all about Middle belt. We have Christians in NW that also need our help.

We have millions of ethnic minority christians in Southern Borno, Adamawa, Niger, Southern Kebbi, Southern Yobe, Southern Gombe, Southern Bauchi, Southern Kaduna who are yet to still be rescued from the strangulating grip of Arewa & fulani domination.

All these ones have to be fully rescued first before Hausa christians in Katsina, Kano or Zaria can even be thought about.

Hausa fulani christians are the last group of people that can be helped in Nigeria. Helping them means taking the war to the oppressors or enemy's corridor.

The best thing other middlebelters can do for them is to give them lands to settle and spaces for development (where they can easily avoid discrimination, freely practice their religion and achieve their full potentials)......... This is what Jos used to be and is still is to many of them.

Yes, those Christians who were in Sokoto state then are mostly in Kebbi & Zamfara states now.

Sokoto state currently have very few christians, but Kebbi and to an extent Zamfara have hundreds of christian communities. Especially in Kebbi state where the 2nd largest tribe there (the Zuru people) are predominantly christians.

Most core northern christians are a silenced population. It's quite unfortunate.

Just as the fulanis silenced the Hausas, they have also succeeded in silencing many other northern minorities.

Again I say you aren't from Benue bro. Who doesn't condemn the killings? This same guy was stoned on the day of the massacre. Do you know why? How come things changed when THIS TIME he brought the bodies to the capital for burial? And you think the 73 was the worst hit by the Fulanis in the state? Why this time? He only let you guys know this time and it's the only good thing he did..... but for what motives? Do you know it's the only thing he will keep talking about to make people forget about his total failure? You don't know that man, you don't even know what he did to workers this same month. What was his response in the previous attacks? OK, he's human, he has changed. Some of us were thinking before now he'll use miraculous payment of 13 months salaries owed workers as campaign but never knew he'd make a more complex plan with this incident. Using the death of innocent citizens for politics, it's so clear bro but some are yet to see cos they're either not from the state or they're within but blinded by sentiments. I usually don't talk politics but this particular governor has gotten on my nerve. Are you sure it's his kind of person you need for a leader? Cos it's that statement of yours that struck me. You don't know him, you don't know that smooth talker.

You are very correct. There are two things that always rattle the North. Number one is agitation for secession. Number two is the prospect of a politically united South.

Like you rightly said, the were extremely worried about the activities of NK. Hence, the crack down. They will do just anything to make sure the country is not divided. Perhaps, they know they can't survive without the South. Had it been the oil is in the North, they would have declared Arewa Republic and chase away Southerners.

On the issue of Southern unity, I am telling you reliably, a politically united South in alliance with just one of the MB States is all that is needed in checking political arrogance of the Northerners. They are always desperate in their attempts to make sure the South is not united. A quick look at their activities here on this forum will give you a good and clear picture of the desperation. They hid behind handles bearing Igbo and Yoruba usernames to sow discord among the two major tribes in the South. I am compiling such handles and will create a thread about their desperate divide-and-rule politics.

The same is exhibited by their political leaders. They have been using division to weaken the MB and suppress the MB identity. Hope you remember when the Northern Governors Forum visited Ortom and instead of commiserating with the Governor about the New Year killings, they shamelessly accused Southern leaders (who visited earlier) for trying to score political points.

The Hand Shakes Across the Niger is what is tormenting Northern politicians lately. Notice that, they never hid their feelings. Some of their leaders have openly commented on the Hand Shakes.

You can notice that, the latest press release by the Coalition of Northern Groups recently talk about the prospect of a referendum. Such is rare.

The Southern politicians just need to sustain the tempo.

The thinking pattern of you Arewa people is funny. Here in Benue, we know how to give priority to issues. For now, resisting Fulani take over of our land is our topmost priority. When we are done chasing your people out of our territory, we will then tackle other issues. It is only a mad man that will be crying over a pot of soup when the house is on fire. We have a wise proverb which says when a fox come to devour your chickens, you first of all chase away the fox before turning your attention to the mother hen. For now, Ortom is our hero. No amount of divide-and-rule tactics like the one you are trying here will succeed. We are smarter now. Leave us to solve our problems. No fake sympathy from our killers. Bye.

omo I hear say for benue now the killing of fulani is more now but really silent. is that true? coz when I heard it I was like wow benue don dey open eyes now
