The only phone in the world people re comparing it to within it price range u the Moto G plus 5 . And not a knock off phone running on mediatek processors

There's a lot to like about Nokia's midrange Nokia 5 handset. Its slim, metal design is very comfortable to hold and looks smart. There's not much of a bezel around the display either, which means the body hasn't had to balloon out too much to accommodate its 5.2-inch display.

That display is bright and bold and while the 720p resolution isn't sharp enough to make details pop, it's fine for reading stories online and chatting with your friends. The fingerprint scanner below the screen works well and doubles as a home button too.

The phone runs Android Nougat, which Nokia has left completely untouched. It results in a clean, fuss-free interface that's easy to use and nippy to navigate thanks to the phone's octa-core processor. The Nokia 5 falls a little below the Moto G5 Plus in benchmark terms, but apps like Gmail load quickly and games like Asphalt: Xtreme are handled well enough for casual mobile gamers.

The 13-megapixel rear camera takes sharp shots, with a good exposure balance. Colours aren't very bold and the white balance can be hit and miss, but for quick snaps for Facebook, it'll suit fine. There's quite a lot of image noise in low-light shots, so wait until you're outside in the daylight to take your best shots. There's an 8-megapixel front camera, too, with an HDR mode that gives sharp, well-balanced selfies.

Mind you for 65k this is the best phone you can get out there

Nokia doesn't make phones which work well for only three months then afterwards all sorts of issues start popping up

Nokia phones meet the best global standards hence are sold everywhere in Asia, Europe and even in the Home country of Netherlands

Nokia doesn't need to creat sub standard phones and sell in countries with lax quality laws and claim market focus

Nokia doesn't need to pay it's online marketers to make lackluster review of ow quality brands due to fewr of.competetion

Note the Nokia 5 runs on Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430.. not Mediatek lol

The Nokia service centers are state of the art
.don't use your hard earned money to buy into cheap propaganda marketing seliing you less for more

Buy quality

Nokia will not tell you after 8 months that they don't stock parts for their phones anymore
Nokia does real reviews and drop tests not paid propaganda

Nokia doesn't make phones with a 9 month life span

Nokia does not sell marketing stunts we sell quality

In my opinion, I do not think Nokia 5 is compatible with Android 8 Oreo OS. My applications stop responding almost at every use, system UI stops responding. I have to either do a restart or soft reset at least twice a day to operate the phone. So I'll suggest you also test or stay on Android 7.1.1 Nougat that came with the phone coa you may not enjoy Android 8 Oreo on your Nokia 5.

Thanks.

it's compatible .....the problem is the apps ...not all apps are compatible with oreo yet ...so you have to be patient till every app releases their update
