Then A point is here , see if Kroos and Modric don't do good playmaking and control the rythm of game, if they along with Asensio, Vazquez don't assist him , if Isco and Modric don't dribble past Other players and give easy ball to Ronaldo, he won't get his name even in score sheet . I mean com'on look he missed 3 easy chances vs PSG because that was not easy Tapin . And look at the way he missed chances In clasico specially that nutmegging himself.

On the other hand , Messi doing all these stuffs on his own . Dribbling ,passing , assist, Goals ,long range assists and magic on every game . Look at his game ,his every move gives orgasm and makes the whole match worthy to watch and still you are comparing him with Ronaldo ??

The things Ronaldinho Gaucho does with a ball on the field of play. It'll take centuries to have another person do such on the field of play.

Messi is good and Ronaldo is good too but I'll tip Lionel over CR7 anytime. His style is uniquely entertaining. It's like there's a magnet on his foot each time he runs with the ball

Messi will never have the strength and determination CR7 possesses. Messi plays soft while Ronaldo plays hard and tough.

They're both great players it'll be unfair to continue comparing them cos they have different styles. But as for me, I enjoy watching Messi play. I'll pick him anytime, any day but when Ronaldinho was around, no one can beat the magician.

Ronaldinho still remains my best, but for now, I'll make do with Neymar and Messi. Ronaldo plays ordinary football like anybody else but his determination got him where he is, add to that is his good looks. He's a model on the pitch and remember, he has a likeable smile, so who wouldn't fall for him?

Let me educate you a little on football, Messi is better when compared to Ronaldo but your point is lame bro, in term of assist that you claim messi is competing with de bruyne (are comparing them based on this season or their career?) ronaldo is bad assist maker so messi is not competing with him in term of assist abi? Who is highest assist maker in champions league history? Ronaldo la liga assist is more than iniesta's, xavi's, modric's, kroos's you ur point is lame. Now let me tell you football is measured base on ur achievement not playing style (between maradona and pele who is a better player? who is widely consider the greatest?) ronaldinho is a better player compared to both but in history of the game he will forever behind them, so u see football is not about style but achievement and in that regard ronaldo is having a slight edge over messi.

We just had this discussion few days back. See, only a biased Madrid fan will rate Ronaldo over Messi. But ask any football fan who he would rather pay money to watch between the two, including Madrid fans and they'll pick Messi. Among current football coaches and retired legends, a bigger majority of them rate Messi as the best footballer in the world, some even say of all time, and they can't all be wrong, these are guys who are knowledgeable about football to a large extent so they're obviously seeing something. For me, I'll never hate on Ronaldo cos I'm not competing with him on anything. I think he's a fantastic footballer who works extra hard than others. But frankly on the field of play, I don't see what he's doing that's different from what Aguero or Lewandowski or even Harry Kane is doing, which is to finish off chances inside the box, of which a greater majority are tap ins. I can't remember the last time I saw Ronaldo beat his man one on one with a dribble or even for pace, nor last time he scored from a direct free kick etc. Compare these stats alone to Messi and you begin to see where these specialists are drawing their conclusions from.
