Whats makes you think is about money? Private hospitals are so substandard that the only thing they can boast of is structures with Air-conditioned environment. Outrightly they are empty. They shy away from cases they outrightly know they cant handle.

Have you heard when a private hospital told someone at the point of death of his loved one to quickly go to General Hospital? General hospital is under-funded but its far better than all this big private hospitals you see with exorbitant bills. They only treat malaria and body-aches there. Thats the only thing they are good at.

If the hospital was not equiped to treat accident victims...then they have every right to refer.

Because doctors have lost their licenses attempting to treat patients without adequate facility, specialization and backup.

Depends on the private hospital....eg a place like Eko hospital or St Nicholas might be able to treat the case easy-peasy.

Most private hospitals are GP...General Practices. More serious cases get refered to tertiary hospitals...like your general hospital...where there are CONSULTANTS....AND lots of equipment, etc.

both are guilty in this case...if the hospital insist for deposit and he is angry about it he could have deposited same for the man to get treated (He can even ask for refund later)...

If Segun owns a hospital in Nigeria i believe he might do same as the hospital above...That said the hospital could have attended to the situation better, though full details of the real happenings there are not known.... The system is faulty, its sad
