I'm not very proud about this development but I will have to make this post in case anything happens. I do not intend to have problem with anyone but I want you guys to sincerely give your opinion about this issue. Please try to read to the end, I know it's lengthy but I have to narrate how it all happened. Please if I'm in anyway wrong be sincere enough to let me know. Thanks

It all started in February 2017 after my NYSC, I had a trusted friend who happen to own a farm(poultry) in Port Harcourt, there was a day we met and he brought up an idea about bringing money for him to accommodate 100birds in his farm for a price of ₦100,000 though he said it's because I'm his friend that's the reason he was charging 100k from me and he was going to take 20% of any profit made from the sales of this birds. He also said I can learn from him(this didn't work because according to him, he had workers coming to mount machines so I should wait for some time before coming over)

I agreed to it because it sounded nice and was a good business, some days later I transferred 90k to his account because I didn't have the complete 100k and agreed to balance him later, which we later agreed he can also get the remaining 10k from the sales of the birds.

So around June 2017 the birds were due for sales and we met in an eatery around Artillery, Port Harcourt when he told me he has started making sales but had to stop because he had to take care of some tax stuff. Three days later I went to the farm to see him so I can ask when he will give me some money, that was when he said he had lost 90% of the birds and I was shocked after he told me 3 days ago that all was going well. I was upset but couldn't do anything about it, he said he was going to replace the birds to which I agreed. We had to write and agreement after that incident.

Fast forward to December 2017 during sales of this birds, he started giving telling me customers were not paying for it even after buying from him, he said they were going to pay later. That went on for weeks until I got fed up and I had to report it to his Sister and few of our friends, I can't really tell what happened between Him and his Sister but he sent me a message after some hours asking Me why I had to report to his mum, saying I shouldn't have involved a 3rd party. He told me he was selling for 2700 each but I told him to give me each 2500, and I took 2 birds from the remaining 93(he said 7 died). There was 91 birds left and the total money from everything was ₦227,500. After removing his 20% and the ₦10,000 balance he was supposed to balance me ₦192,000.

Few days later he called me and we met at Spar, Port Harcourt where he was with his friends. I was at the gate waiting for him because I didn't want to go inside since I wasn't properly dressed, so he had to meet me outside. He made a transfer of ₦11,000 to my account and gave me ₦14,000 in cash, this was on the 26th Dec. 2017 around 2:49pm. He said when I'm back he will give me the rest. So agreed and travelled for Xmas, while there I sent him an SMS reminding him about it and he said there was no problem.

When I came back to Port harcourt in 2018 January, I asked him about it and he said he used the payment he collected to buy birds in his farm. I asked him about my part but he said he will give me after they complete the payment. Weeks later he called me and said he will give me the money few days later and I said okay. After like two weeks I didn't hear from him, he stopped picking my calls, replying to my chats or SMS. He said I should stop disturbing him, saying he will contact me when he has the money.

I had to contact his sister again but she said she doesn't wanna meddle in the stuff anymore and I understand because his brother said if I involve any Third Party I will see the result and he said even if I involve the police they can't make him do what he doesn't want to do. So I called on of our friend to talk to him


This morning, he is saying I must balance him the remaining 10k and pay for all the delays I caused him( I don't even understand the delays he is talking about). He said that's the only reason he will give me the money. I told him several times he can keep all the profit and give back to me just the capital and he didn't agree, I told him also to keep the money if he wants and he said no. I also told him to calculate 90k for 90birds and he said no.

Out of annoyance I sent some SMS to him which I'm going to attach here. All the things I have said here have proof, from chats to payment made and agreement.

Please I need advise on how to go about with this because I feel threatened

The bottom line of anything in life is that you should not give out money that you cannot bear the lost, you make the mistake, you have learn in hard way,most people don't pay back if they borrow or enter into business deal with someone,they can even kill the person if he start asking for his money, most Nigerians are wicked and scammers.

Bear your lost and learn from it otherwise your life is at risk.

I intend to forget about it but do u fink it's wise of me to expose him on social media as I'm about to forget the money involved??

The only way to revenge is to make more money

And he will come back to u for another business then u remind him of this

It will not bring your money back,see it as painful bad investment,make more money, people lost millions in mmm.

it pains me such people still exist, you just have to deal with him cos forgetting about the money is not enough except you have another investment.

I have no other investment and how do I go about dealing with him??

look for an alfa or any white garment prophet close to you and they'll get the job done (but run from anyone that bills more than 3-5k), they can make him pay double of that amount.
