No sir, but we must start from somewhere, the problem we have been experiencing has been more of home made by legislative trying to please people they are indebted to at the detriment of the poor masses, we have vio and road safety, police and civil defense what is the correlation btw them, duplication of duties, we have agencies all over Nigeria with no tangible differences between them yet government paying heavily year in year out, until we address this issue , corruption will continue to strive, these has nothing to do with creation of jobs.

It's a good one from PMB. Instead of bringing in new sectors let's see how we can manage and efficiently utilize what is already on ground.
Down here in Kaduna, we have about 4 different offices carrying out almost the same function on road; The FRSC, YELLOW FEVER, POLICE & then KASTELLA on top one lane all asking u to show them ur papers.

If possible, I think some sectors should b merged or fo away with, EFCC, DSS, CIVIL DEFENSE, all suppose dey under Police department

Sir we have army on ground, police, civil defense, dss, efcc etc, if all these agencies could not stop the adoption of DAPCHI girls, peace corps would have been of no importance, go and read their supposed function.

He did respond to them eventually. Seriously I don't see any reason for another enforcement agent when government is still struggling to pay the existing salaries. More over, the establishment of state police will bring security closer to the people and thus, ratification of PC bills would be tantamount to duplication of duties. Those pushing for the passage of the bill (the NA) are only doing so for their own selfish interest; to perpetuate more corruption practises and carry out backroom recruitment exercise. Nonsense!
