Rice farming is the most profitable agribusiness to venture into in Nigeria and Africa at large. Nigeria in particular has a huge market for rice production. That is why private investors are turning their attention to this area. Very soon Dangote will be the largest producer of rice in Africa.

Rice importation in Nigeria has dropped by 90% but we still need more investors in this area so that we can become major exporters of rice in the nearest future.
