Fulan's are also found in northern Sudan, Ethiopia and Egypth. It's possible that such acts are practiced amongst fulanis from these counties and it's not among the compulsory traditional marriage rites. In Nigeria, fulani marriages are base on pure Islamic practices.

lol I doubt it. in the past they practice that flogging of the groom before marriage. infact the local ones preferred their groom to be flogged before marriage in order for them to know may be the new husband to be is energetic and strong in the family .it's an act of strength.

We are all human beings and equal in the sight of God. Fulanis are not that materialistic, he might only have challenge in terms of faith which is common to all tribes and religion when it comes to marriage issues. But all things been equal, if they share same faith, I thing the issue of him being nobody might not arise. Lol
