What the restless, jobless and unskilled youths in that region need are skills acquisition centers to give then lifelong skills to fend for themselves, not worthless churches.

There are more churches on many streets in Nigeria than residential houses.

Nigerians are spending billions building churches whilst school and healthcare/hospital buildings across the nation are suffering decay and wilful neglect. In the process, the future of Nigerians and their conscience have become mortgaged. The other day, I watched a short video clip in which ordinary Nigerians were interviewed and asked to express their views about tithing. None of them made sense - they simply couldn't string together sensible reasons to agree or disagree. They have been mentally and intellectually enslaved through denial of sound education. Nigeria is eternally doomed.

Most Nigerian leaders don't even know why they're in government(aside for the sake of looting public treasury). I do want to believe that this guy wanted to do something, but due to lack of proper orientation he has opted for this inessential project.

Bayelsa State Government is owing salaries...despite the large amount of federal allocation to the state.

Bayelsa State has an unemployment ratio that is one of the highest in Nigeria.

Yet this same Govt use state funds to build an 'ecumenical center' and some people are actually hailing this?

How much has Dickson spent on "world class" food processing plant or even straw (to sip drink) processing plant?

We're spending scarce resources looking for God that is always with us everywhere we go. Yet we ignore widows, orphans and the vulnerable languishing in poverty and disease. The very people God asked us help.

We have a long to go.

Nigeria Architects are dumb. They lack creativity when it comes to building designs. Just look at this house.... I bet you if it were Western architect that designed this building, it would have been breathtaking.
Almost all the buildings in Nigeria look stupid and devoid of creativity. Our architects are outdated.

Money they should have channeled to productive sector that will create employment for the indigenes will be used to build house of God and God is no longer in temples but our hearts. I am glad we still have minds as bright as yours and not those that have been imprisoned radically by the fanaticism of being more christian than the pope.

I pray we get there one day for now we just hope that our voices and actions be heard and seen respectively.

Go to ELEMEBIRI, ASAMABIRI, ETC and see how bad and underdevelop this towns are.

Governor Dickson is investing in the LAND AREA OF BAYELSA STATE while abandoning the riverine towns in Bayelsa state.

Why not develop STANDARD BOAT TRANSPORT SYSTEM to the rural riverine towns in Bayelsa state.

Many Bayelsan now travel on rickety boat to their villages.
