A mentally disturbed person can kill with anything. Stay enlightened and remove yourself from the idea of seeing evil in every innovation or development.

Like I Said, we need technology that solves our own problems not just become a new technology comes and we embrace it. What is the use of automation in a largely populated country like ours? What is the use of artificial intelligence device and robots? These technologies don't solve our problems. We need to look inward and develop our own technology that will tackle our unique challenges in this nation.

If we fail to embrace new technologies, we are left behind as a nation. Its so pathetic that students are learning about obsolete technology in our universities and they expect to cope in a developed world. Technology keeps changing, what you spent five years learning in school is already old and has no place in the digital age.

I will tell you there is a need for automation irrespective of our population. Our university curriculums are not tailored to tackle societal problem in real time, this leads to a situation where you see engineering graduates in Nigeria working as sales men for tech giants. If you set up a factory today as an Engineer and you have a machine that can do the job of 50 men, won't you subscribe to it? I bet you will! The challenge of paying workers who embark on strike action day in day out is enough to kill your business. At least you can employ few people.

3. We need to look inward and develop our own technology that will tackle our unique challenges in this nation
We have been looking inward all these while, the citizens themselves are frustrating the system in collaboration with an outdated government. How many of our university professors in Nigeria patented experimental work that has been commercialized today? The system is not organized, professors and lecturers sit in their offices expecting government to pay salaries at the end of the month; when they should be looking out for research funding for project students. No collaboration between Industries and academia, the government is less interested in the research carried out in universities and how it would benefit the society.

Summary
Automation and AI are here to stay, we need to get that in our heads and review our stupid British curriculum that has made us a consumer nation and not a producing nation.
