These are the least powerful passports in Africa.These include they are ranked among the 193 UN member countries and 6 territories.

They are ranked according to the number of visa free and visa on arrival countries their holders are able to enter.


(1) SOMALIA:The country called horn of Africa is a failed state raveged by terrorism,wars,piracy etc,has the least powerful passport in africa with global Passport Power Rank of 93 over 97.

Holders of Somali pasport can travel to 34 visa free and visa on arrival countries.

(2) SUDAN:The North African country which had years of bloody civil wars with now neighbours South Sudan .

Sudanese citizens can travel to 38 visa free and visa on arrival countries,with a global Passport Power Rank of 91.

(3) ERITREA: One of the horns of Africa has the 3rd least powerful passport in Africa with 39 visa free and visa on arrival countries,with a global Power rank of 90.

(4) LIBYA: The Northern Africa country which has been unstable since the demise of its leader Muammar Gaddafi has 40 visa free and visa on arrival countries with a global Passport Power Rank of 89.

(5) ETHIOPIA AND SOUTH SUDAN:Africa's second most populous country, the only African country that was never colonized and the

newest country to have independence in the world(2011) are placed fifth with 41 visa free and visa on arrival countries with a global Passport

(6) CONGO DR: One of the richest African countires by mineral deposit is placed sixth least powerful passport in Africa.

Citizens of Congo DR can travel to 44 visa free and visa on arrvial countries with passport power rank of 86.

(7) NIGERIA: Africa's biggest Economy by nominal GDP and the most populous black nation on earth is ranked 7th in Africa.

Holders of the 'green' passport can travel to 45 visa free and visa on arrival countires with a glopal passport power rank of 85.

( DJIBOUTI AND CONGO: Both countries have a global passport power rnak of 84 and their passports can get the holders to 46 visa free and visa on arrival countires with a global passport pwer rank of 84.

(9) CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC/CAMEROON/BURUNDI/LIBERIA:These countries are ranked 83 on the global passport power ranking and 47 visa free and visa on arrival countries.

(10) ALGERIA AND EQUATORIAL GUINEA:The Northern and Western Africa countries are ranked 10th least powerful passports in Africa with a global Passport Power Rank of 82 and 49 visa free and visa on arrival countires.

Bro it is in descending order,

For example,the number two is more powerful than the number one,so Algeraian passport is more powerful than the Nigerian passport

I'm not seeing Ghana on that list....does it mean Ghana's passport is stronger than Naija own??
