The story and activities of this boko seem to follow a trend which political watchers must pay close attention to.

Let us not forget that during the last administration especially after GEJ indicated his intention to run for a second term. The boko activities took a very deadly dimension supported by some politicians lending their verbal support through their comments and actions.
Shortly after Buha's victory there was a lull in their activity that gradually picked up for some unknown reason and now that he is eyeing 2019 it seems like we are back to the 2015 deadly attacks again.
There must be more to all this than meets the ordinary eyes. Our elders say when two elephants fight the grass suffers. We need to know who the elephants are.

I will like to liken this boko attacks to rivalry cult activities or the usual 'Agbero' clashes. All we see are the casualties we hardly see those behind the scene fueling the fight.
Now we hear that the boko has split into two quite expected because of disagreements. One day as usual we may get to the root of this but for now there seem to be powerful masquerades that must be unmasked for peace to reign.
