Apart from Mambilla in Taraba, you have the Jukuns & Mumuyes. Fulanis hardly mess with these tribes in Taraba Cos the repercussions would be deadly.

In Bauchi, you have the Sayawa who completely cleansed out every single Hausa fulani or muslim from Tafawa Balewa town. Till date, no mosque can be built in that town.

In Plateau, you have the Ngas and the Tarok. Fulanis cannot mess with both tribes

In Southern Kaduna, you have the Jaba, the Kataf, Bajju and Adara people etc.

Fulanis only succeed in attacks in Plateau, Taraba and Southern Kaduna because they pick on the weaker tribes alone. And since there is no very strong form of ethnic solidarity among the tribes, the stronger ones do not defend the weaker ones.
