Its a pity your reasoning and that of your colleagues is primitive. We ought to be celebrating innovation not rice production that even many countries in Africa shipped in to Nigeria as majority of state government rebag and brand their name on it. Sorry, I thought u are married?

You're a dumbass.

Rice production is the only feat worth celebrating in a country, that's expected to begin mass production of pencils in 2018.

Looool.

The minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh says the federal government is targeting the production of seven million tonnes of rice by 2018 Briefing newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Ogbeh said that the target, which would be achieved by the second quarter of 2018, was to meet the national consumption rate.
The minister, however, attributed the current hike in price of rice to the increase in the people’s demand for the produce. You just messed Ipobian's day with this well detailed response.......soon they will ask for pictures of the farm. When you supply the pictures, they will then say the pictures are photoahopped. They have Hidden agendas and i am asking REAL Nigerians not to celebrate with them because our agendas are VERY different.....they REALLY want the zoo to burn!

The first photo illustrates where Cotton can be grown in Nigeria. the second photo is Mississippi cotton field. Nigeria could produce cotton and all the by products of cotton. all of that land is wasting away.
thanks alot. i am interested in this. i presently reside in one of the endemic states as illustrated in your diagram above. i am a rice farmer and i intend to buy a large portion of land by the end of the year. i would want to contact you from time to time about this if you have any experience yourself. please permit me to send you a private message.
