Maybe toke should speak out about the lopsided family court system in Western societies that strip men off almost everything they've labored for in the event of a divorce or perhaps the soft hammer used on women in cases bordering on sexual perversion or violence. Women have always gotten the rub of the green and are seldom held accountable for their actions.Until then, she's just whistling Dixie outta her ar*e

A country where husband snatchers think their 2cents matter because they have a followership of overly retarded folks.

I agree with her and sadly a great number of Nigerian parents are also raising their children same way. You raise your sons with soft gloves and raise your daughters with iron fists constantly reminding her that she must be of good behaviour for her future husband. Of what use is all that training if she ends up with a poorly trained boy? Parents have their work cut for them in raising responsible, reliable and accountable children, sadly they are failing woefully going by all the moral decadence going on around us today.
They'll soon call you a feminist.
It's always gender wars to them...zero logic and reasoning.

People like Toke should not be allowed to have an opinion on anything. There are more reasonable women out there who are qualified to pontificate in issues like this.

@Bolded, where did you get your statistics that Nigerian parents are more strict to their daughters than their sons?

Woman, can you authoritatively tell and prove to the forum that Nigerian parents are more strict to their daughters than sons. You ladies are busy hiding under the shield of misogynist. just to spill your long awaited complaints.....You all should stop generalizing Anthony Joshua's personal decision on kids training.

I don't even understand...How can you say African parents are soft to their sons more than daughters... Abi my papa been de different? ...How can you say that?, huh?

Incase you don't know, woman.

The only aspect of training where parents are more strict to their daughters than sons is Sexual exposure and life , why?, because African society doesn't play and consider gender equity while condemning a man and a lady that sleeps around.

Kindly come up with your statistics and prove that African parents are more strict to their daughters than sons

You typed of a trained lady ending up with a poor trained boy....incase you don't know, the bitter truth remains that the only training you ladies prefer from a man is MONEY , that's why you see ladies pretend to still love a rich man even if she's not enjoying the marriage.
you nailed it brov!

This ur generalization sef. In my fam I am the only son with 3sisters,my mom handled me firmly more than the girls, like anything that happens is always my fault. My mom flogs me for something my sis does I was tempted to ask my dad if na my mama born me. Abeg don’t generalize

Everybody should raise their kids the way they want

If you raise good daughters and end up giving them in marriage to spoilt men, then the problem is yours to carry, not the society's.

You're responsible for the kind of sons or daughters you raise and the kind of partners you hand them over to in matrimony.

Who says the boys don't get harder and more difficult home chores. In fact from where I came from boys do all chores and the girls are pampered cos they're weaker. In fact this fully applies to the larger society till this very day.

And who says men don't endure harsh drilling seminars or panels to get them to be man enough.

Toke I put it to you, you're a dam bloody liar. Like "most" feminists you all twist facts just to get sympathy to the women fold and turn men to complete zombies and play toys and do everything while y'all do nothing. Already working in America and the west but when the men wake up the side effects of what you folks are doing will be devastating.
You dey mind them. I hv 3sisters and the only thing they do is cook. Only me will fetch water like 3times a day o cos dey use water anyhow, I wash car, I clean house,to walk to the gate to off gen at night na always me.

If Anthony Joshua is not raising his son the way you love, don't allow your daughter go anywhere close to his son...

but NO!

You people will still secretly admire to have him as in-law because of fame, wealth, etc..

Toke typed that epistle hoping AJ would reply her so she could warm up to him and fûck him. A lot of men say similar things in real life and on the internet - why should AJ's own case be different?

Silly attention seeker.

Just for a guy to say that he's shinning his eyes on his niece to make sure she becomes a virtuous woman, na im come be wahala? Okay, in this case who is supposed to complain? Is it not men? AJ says he is not strict on his son compared to the niece? That means the boy can grow up to be wayward. Yet men don't fight for one of their own. Why? Because this is a non-issue. Na wa o.
