Popular Nigerian reggae/dancehall king, Patoranking earlier today shared a photo of him in front of Harvard Business School saying he was invited to speak there today. In his words " Was invited to speak @ Havard today"

But an American poet on Instagram as @sam.josh, in disbelief of Patorankings claims chimed in the singers comment section saying it was highly impossible for him to speak there " That's highly impossible" he wrote.

Some Nigerians who also supported the poet lashed at Patoranking asking him to post an evidence as they found his story about being invited to speak at Harvard very hard to believe.

A follower of his wrote " Lol � may be you gave the speech outside the school by the sign post,expensive joke haha. I guess that’s your wish and God will grant it ��"

Patoranking reacting to the disbelief wrote "The Way am feeling After this Harvard level, I might decide to run for 2019 @dinomelaye plz advise me". He also put out some photos from the event and a video has also emerged.

Nigerians are now flooding the Peot's comment on Patorankings InstaGram page to cuss him out.

That comment by Olabisi is full of hatred, i once remember puff daddy gave open speech at Harvard, i can remember p diddy being a graduate. Even Nigerian billionaireess Alakija gave public lectures here and there in Uk universities yet madam was a former tailor.

Outside, he looked mighty confident / cocky.

If Puff Daddy was invited, it was not because he was some gangster music producer, but because he is an entertainment icon and tycoon who has excelled in his vocation. If Alakija was invited to a university, it is not because she is a tailor, but because she is an oil tycoon and the richest black woman.

As for Patoranking, who is he as regards Nigerian music, talkless of global music or music business?

However if he says he was there and he has evidence, then he was there, which in itself is a surprise and the world is full of surprises.

And Olabisi was right in demanding to see the evidence of the lecture session, not just a picture of a tourist posing beside the signboard of a university then claiming that as the evidence that he was once a dean of the college.

We all remember the pictures of Gov Fayose posing on a podium at the Chinese train station with the passengers (audience) showing more interest in the arrival of the train rather than pay attention to the supposed speaker.

We also remember a certain Dino Melaye who lied that he graduated from Harvard, when all he did was just visit the school.

That was not a speech but more like a discussion.

A speech would be him standing at a podium to present a well researched academic paper.

If he wasn’t standing at a podium, presenting a research paper that we can google its topic & download the article online then that is not a ‘speech’ in the sense of going to a University to ‘give a speech’.

Any speech given at a University is not literally a ‘speech’ but a paper presentation of a written work intended to answer an academic question in theory or practical.

Patoranking is being fraudulent & Nigerians are, as usual, being ignorant.

You dont actually need to be a graduate to make some of these speech.. sometimes you are invited so that a lot of people will learn from your experience... it might be a fellowship program though
