Arabic is not a Nigerian language bros. The language in the north is hausa and nobody needs to impose it on you. It is either you learn or perish.

The use of Yoruba to teach subjects is a test to see if it will help students understand it better not a drastic change in policy, surely you don't expect everyone to be taught in Native languages. And even if it works, it won't be change anything, students who assimilate faster in Yoruba can as well go learn it.

English is Nigeria's official language but if our next nuclear physicists have to be trained in Igala for them to understand and use it to grow the nation, it is a win for Nigeria

The 'experiment' was carried out in Ife among some students sometimes ago. They were being taught English language just like French but language of instruction for all other subjects was in Yoruba. They performed far better than students with English as language of instruction in all subjects, even in WASSCE.

An educational policy that says recite National Anthem in Yoruba is not completely outlawing the Englush recitation, it means, recite the English and then recite the Yoruba. Eash state has a right of chosing its own educational code for secondary school and primary schools.
