Please, people of nairaland and I am in dire need of your help. I made a business transaction of 1.2million involving two parties with me as the middleman/broker. This money was meant to be used for treatment of a patient in India. I was supposed to look for someone who has an equivalent of 1.2mil in India and send the money to the account provided by the third party while the third party will send the equivalent in India Rupees. Everything was based on trust and that we are Nigerians. Now the third party has refused to send the money to back or the equivalent to the account provided to him. He has gone haywire and blocked me on all social media apps. I have been unable to get me through his mobile line. The worst is that he sent a vague message to the first party saying he has an unfinished deal with me, this has made my client angry and having a sense of mistrust towards me. Just to clear the air I have never dupe anyone in my life and I am not starting now. Now my sorry ass and name is being dragged through the mud. I'm being threatened and unknown calls from India and 9ja has disturbing my life. The only thing I can't do now is to commit sucide alas no be me get say over my life. I am this close to HBP and depression. The name of the scammer is LUKMON ROWAYE OLANREWAJU. Presently I don't know if he's still in India but I believe the of law can drag him out wherever he's hiding.
The details of the account he sent to me are below and as this moment I discovered someone in his family has indeed withdraw the money that was sent to the account he gave me.

Why do you need a middle man or someone in India to pay a hospital in India?

Nigerian bank would have done that legally without any hassle.

Again u and the guy are in India and you didn't deem it fit to visit him and confirm the legality of his stay in India before transferring money to his account.

Anyway if you are a legal resident, there should be a way round it. Report him to authority there and also get someone to report at the relevant arm of Nigeria police in Ikoyi Lagos.

oga nothing here reeks of fraud. I am based in India and 9ja patients here need Rupees to move things. Bank rate ain't favourable so my sole job is to find someone who is willing to trade at a favourable rate. Bank may be selling at 5.8 Naira per rupees while I get to find someone who will sell lower and a get a commission for well done.

Yellowflash, write to GTB, copy their fraud desk. Get them to trace that money and if possible give you his next of kin contact.

Only problem I see here is the bank trying to cover their customer with annoying bureaucracy. Otherwise, this is a small issue. Let your bank get involved as well. Authorize someone in Nigeria to help with the investigations. You'll get your money back.

I know u are not a scammer, but if u know how to do it, I mean the Type where u can transfer money to people's accounts using just their phone. Oga use this guy own.

Why should you do transactions with someone that looks like this in the first place?

Two ways you can get the money. One, contact efcc and write a strong worded petition with all verifiable data's included, efcc will look at the weight of petition and act on it. There are good lawyers that can write the petition for efcc to act.
Two, look for his family and involve them, if they dn't act, look for any deity and sue them, you will get your money within sharp sharp, who wan die?
