Better to be safe than sorry. Showing more funds than you really have is disenginous at best. Visa officers do catch up on it. I won't advice anybody to try it. After you paid your tuition, print your SOA. Not before. Seeing the tuition paid coming out of your account or that of your sponsor, gives major creds. Honesty is the best policy and has a way of vindicating you in the visa process.
.

Well said jnyuwa02, but it doesn't really matter which account an applicant used in paying their tuition. I strongly doubt if a visa officer checks if tuition fees were paid from sponspor/applicant account. What a visa officer wants to see, is simply the proof of tuition payment and nothing else, no one cares which account it was paid from.
Let me use a case scenario where a distant relative/friend who is not a sponsor helps completes tuition payment for an applicant and the applicant submits their application without such amount of money reflecting that it went out from the applicant account nor their sponspors account and all in all they still got their visa approved. This happens in many different occasions not 1 nor twice.. This simply shows that a Visa officer don't care which account a tuition payment was carried out from.

As I said earlier your intake is a welcomed one. I'm not objecting it.

I don't think it's either the fault of your cic account or your details. I feel you've input the wrong details. Hence no linking can be formed

I submitted my application on Monday, paper route and school resumes on 1st of May. Please how long does it take the VO to decide. Do they consider the school resumption date?

No they don't. They are not in a hurry to allow you into Canada. instead, they are more interested in verifying your claims as long as it takes.

Just to point out, those reapplying for TRV, take the time to address not only previous reason for refusal, but every reason there can be further be for refusal. For example, I have lately been seeing CIC after denying people previously on financial grounds, on a second try by these applicants after the financial grounds that was the only reason of denial are addressed, I have seen CIC bring up new reasons for denials like purpose of visit or ties. CIC is so unpredictable. So the warning is if you are reapplying, take time to address not only previous reasons for denial, but every other potential ground that can be for refusal. Best wishes to those refiring.

Good morning great people in here,

Wish to be clarified of this;
Got the following as one of the requirement for admission from one the schools in Canada

An admission grade point average (AGPA) of at least 3.0 (on Concordia University of Edmonton’s 4-point scale) or equivalent on the most recently completed 60 credits.

I want to know if the 3.0 AGPA is same as our 3.0 CGPA.

Thanks.

Yes I put both.. I even interchanged it at some point. When [First name Middle name] didn't work, I put [Middle name First name], still didn't work..

Please can anyone help with this?

emeify:
Please a quick question, can one combine other documents with the IMM forms for online application?
For example, can I combine the PDF of the birth certificates of my siblings and kids with the Family
information IMM form (IMM5645)? The IMM form can be the first pages of the combined PDF and the
other files follow thereafter. Is this doable? Please advise

To boost your chances when applying for PGD, make sure you apply to university for PGD instead of college. Apply only for 2-year program or more

Thank you. God bless

Hi fam,

Thank you for your great work here. Pls I have another question o.

After looking for different schools where I can continue as a graduate student (Master's), all effort has been abortive. Since my GPA is not strong (3.28 or 5).

I told my uncles living in Canada and they told me to go for a diploma or certificate program instead. I have made my research about different schools and I have seen some colleges and universities I can apply to for a diploma degree in GIS.

Please, how visible is this journey I am about to embark on. I want to start applying next week for September resumption.

Also, I want to know about the fees. If the tution fee is $9k is it the exact amount I need to have inside my account or I need to have additional amount of money?

Can I use a cooperative organization I am running as my sponsor?

I will appreciate answers from you all.

Thanks

All the best cindelinc

Hello Frank,
Thanks for your assistance,

I temporarily put my application on hold to clarify something.
A friend advised that I most likely will be refused visa for the program which I have a admission for; 2 yrs diploma in project management (co-op) at Canadian college Vancouver. She says that the V.O will think that I am a migrant since I have a 2nd class upper in chemical engineering with 2 yrs experience applying to a college instead of a university

Please I need your input as I intend to convince the V.O using my SOP that I intend to return and manage my dad's construction projects using the knowledge and co-op experience.

Frankrobbn1:

Biakwa,

Pay up the applicant full tuition fees and transfer living expenses into the applicant domicilary account with this you have fully convinced the visa officer that her intent is strictly for studies.

And yes they might pick another reason after tackling insufficient funds, just make sure you put up an upright application. Don't be scared the applicant can't be refused for just TRAVEL HISTORY it's not done. Endeavour to add the Treasury bills certificate as stated. Her next application will be success.

All the best!

Well noted Franck!!

But i believe we actually submitted enough file/facts to the VO for the first application.
Please can what else do you think can be add up for the second submission,as the agent is still with most of the copies of the documents.Do you think the VO will not want to know why one application was rejected and if they have sort it out.
Now the issue that the VO raised for rejection, can one sight it in the current SOP/Sponsors letter as what has been treated/resolved with proof or we should be silent about it.Does it really matter?

Expecting your response.

some percentage of this TRV refusals are flimsy excuses by the CIC, this is why I would hardly bother myself deliberating on visa refusal on this page. I was once on this thread, applied to Canada and got refused after putting up a fantastic application. After being beneficial to some many who appreciated me here and to the saboteurs who criticised me that I am being blunt with the truth. I made an exit and deleted my old account. Some people on this thread can be or act some how. Regardless, I operated on a silent mode on German thread and active on its group and worked towards securing Masters admission in Germany which is as tedious and competitive like Canada. I got admitted to study Medical Systems Engineering (completely taught in English) in one of the tuition free universities in Germany with just paying 95€ every semester only which covers my transportation cost too.

I now have my study visa and will be travelling to Germany soon.
