Good evening my people. Please I have a task in Benin city that will take me a-day or two. I need a modest hotel where I can rest my head.
Price range is 3-4k.
I saw a thread earlier on created by moscobab but that was in 2016 and I guess a lot might have changed
My friend is suggesting we drive to and fro from warri to Benin and back for the two days but I believe it will be better to just stay the night.
Please you suggestions are highly welcome

Getting a hotel of 3k-4k In Benin is not that easy, except it is a guest house. But you can get a cheap guest house for 3500- 4000 at ugbogbo guesthouse,eweka street, off mmway, after igbinedion education centre just by the sharp bend after the school. Just ask anybody around they will point it out to you.

Go to efex. Along ugbowo road, it should be like 3k to 5k

Really. In warri u can get a modest hotel. D last one I used is imb along refinery road opposite Ekpan police station. I have also used kilos hotel in Jeddo. 4k too. Flat screen, ac, gen, big bed and neat room

That efex hotel is okay.You can also try Arisco,which is just about 7mins walk from Efex hotel.Make sure you have enough money on you for feeding, because the price of food in both hotels are quite expensive.A family friend from Germany lodged in Arisco this last January. A plate of pounded yam is #2500.

ok, I know a guest house in GRA and I can assure you of security and constant power supply and you can get a car going to ring road easily from there. I'm trying to call the guy that works there but he's not picking up. As soon as I have more info I'll let you know. I'll also look for other options.

Because of the relationship I have with him he's gonna give you the room at a very cheap rate,even cheaper than you initially planned on spending.it's nothing fancy though but at least you will have a roof over your head for a cheap rate. Try Mela Motel, it's just #50 from Uselu Market/Mela Motel Junction and Uselu Market to Main gate is an other #30, Mela Motel is cool and its affordable, it's almost directly opposite God Is Good Motors, I mean Mela Motel Junction

Alright. Thanks for your concern. I called the guy and requested for an SMS detailing the location of the hotel but he didn't get back to me. Quite surprising, we closed earlier than expected so we went back to warri. Presently,I'm in Benin but today is the final day for the training so I will head back home at the end of the training.
