It's gone stale and formulaic: Get captured by an uber villain, escape, rinse and repeat.

The zombies are no longer a threat, just background filler. I daresay you can remove the zombies and no one will notice anymore.

Even the comics keep gallivanting around with an old and infirm rick while carl has become an asshole.

The whisperer war was a tepid joke....they really blew it with that material. I'd have preferred aome kind of super zombie who're smart and actually whisper than another band of brigands hiding under zombie flesh.

Think I'll start watching Z Nation instead.

This season has been thoroughly disappointing. No new ideas just the same old shit. The way zombies are being portrayed recently just makes 1 wonder how they took over the world? I really didn't feel much concerning the most likely death of Carl. Thats just shows how disappointed I am. Thoroughly lost all my enthusiasm for this series.

I know they are fond of killing off characters. But in the eventuality that Carl dies, they should kuku just end the show after season 8.

And i dont get why they didn't show us how The Saviors escaped the sanctuary. All they gave us was a flimsy reason, "Eugene". We know the "Who". We want to know the "How"

Z nation should be shown on the sci-fi channel. The graphics are poor and the acting sub par. It's got nothing on the walking dead. No comparison

It's got more action and more twists and turns bro. In terms of entertainment value, Z-Nation brings it. Walking Dead just has a bigger name - and no end in sight! No hope of a cure, most of the interesting characters killed off, nothing new, they're still sticking to their old redundant formula.

X nation is wack. The graphics are horrible and poorly done. Obviously on a tight budget.

I tried season one but only with date about to expire will I do season 2. Will watch only when desperate.

Hahaha I feel you, but it gets better bro. I agree season 1 was shit but it got better and it doesn't take itself too seriously like WD. It's mindless fun and the zombies are actually a threat. In the current season there is actually a strain of zombies that are literally unkillable. Tell me, how has the overall storyline of WD advanced since season 1. No word from the government, no rumours of a cure... Since Negan came around I've just hated this show though I haven't started this current season. But Z-Nation satisfies my zombie cravings just the way I like it. Are the zombies on WD even a threat anymore? It's just annoying

Tired of the monologues too. Negan has gone too many episodes without using “Lucille” or showing us why he is a top tier villain. Dude is looking like Donald Duck right now. All talk. Negan will eventually team up with Rick. How realistic will that be?
