Before I beleive, also, TB Joshua who heals all manner of infirmities did not heal the Hausa people he called together for a feast, and they are all polio victims, he should have healed them, not giving them rice and televising it for all to see, what they needed most was and still is to be able to stand on their own and not depending on anybody for anything. Jehovahs witness says "See then believe" they do not believe anything unless there is a scientific explanation for it

Whether they believe in it or not, the true fact is that most modern day miracles are scams. Any pastor that knows he can perform miracles like in the so-called olden days should go to the hospitals and mortuaries where there are enough infirm and dead people awaiting their 'miracle'. Nonsense.

Well, I got your point clearly there and as well, your scriptural references. I think you paraphrased the scripture but I was referring to the literary insinuation of the statement.
More importantly, the mission and vision of Christ is to make the Kingdom 'whole' as much as possible and has handed over the mission to the first Christians for continuity, from generations to generations till eternity.
A clarification, it was not stated anywhere that we can not heal the infirmed or the broken ones as necessary in as much its done through faith in the most high God and the belief in His existence.
If there is no need for healing or miracle, the need and essence of a scripture like: 1 peter 2:21. Literarily, that statement, 'by His stripes, you are healed' is an extraordinary and supernatural situation, looking at it from the angle of: beating A and B is healed. Its a Miraculous Healing!
That being said, there is no scripture that says we shouldn't expect healing from God through faith or, that God can not do miracle again like the early days but the only condemnation and what Christians should avoid is temptation or prompting God for miracles; playing bait for miracle from God and giving Him conditions of 'miracle' manifestation for strong faith. All these stances are condemned by God in different times and places in the bible.
On a final note, miracle or healing from God is still in existence, and the proof is that he still uses people among us to communicate others, and by so doing, there is grace and abilities he gives to these people as a crutch to their endeavour to grow His kingdom most especially in a situation of a broken heart.

A friend of mine (Jehovas withness) said that miracles and prophets are no more, that it ended in the old testament. Then I asked what about Jesus and the apostles, didn't they perform miracles and prophesied.

Even after Jesus death, it still continues because
Jesus didn't say there will be no more miracle, He didn't say there will be no more prophets, He never said goodbye. Jesus said I will be with you always.

Some people are saying that if there's still miracle, there won't be challenges of any kind. The truth is that even at the time of Chist, there were still challenges. There were sick, poor, blind, lame, barren, less privilege. But that doesn't mean miracle were not performed

Though I don't despise the belief of anyone because everybody is entitled to theirs.
For me, I believe in miracle for His ways and thought is not like ours.

There is no religion as divided as Christianity. Always arguing amongst themselves whose denomination is better and condemning others who are probably better than them. I like the witnesses though, mostly because everyone else hates them.

The irony of it all. Christianity is founded on Christ who preached and wanted his followers to do same, but the only denomination preaching is hated by everyone (including other 'followers of Christ') for preaching.

I don't believe in those scam religious miracles either. I hate how heartless, mindless and petty the world religions paint God.

one major reason why this country is bleeped. A child was sick..They didnt take her to hospital. They brought out bible. Assuming the baby stopped breathing now, they will take the baby to hospital and blame the doctor that certified him dead saying they should have given the baby oxygen. If such a baby is sick abroad do u think they will start with psalm.91 when they had good healthcare. Continue deceiving yourself if this is what you call miracle.
