We need to admit that 80% charge is good enough for a day, and it is ideal for overall smartphone battery lifespan. Crossing the 80% charging mark may make your battery to overheat, thereby affecting its life. Therefore, it’s not necessary that your phone should always be charged up to a 100% maximum.

#8 Avoid Frequent re-charging

We always tend to re-charge our smartphone when it decreases to the 50% battery mark. But, that’s not the best practice to do. We must allow the battery to discharge to around 25% before we plug it in again. Studies have shown that frequent and unnecessary recharges shorten the lifespan of the smartphone battery.

#9 Use Powerbanks

The best way to give your smartphone an extra battery life is to get a power bank. However, while purchasing a power bank, you have to notice few things like your power bank have to promise you protection against overcharging, short circuit, voltage surge etc. These features will make sure that your smartphone battery lasts longer.

Bros, my phone stops charging when it reaches 100%. Infact, if it is still left unplugged like 2 hours more, the phone shuts down. Like, it switches off on its own. Most modern smart phones do that.

I use an Infinix Hot 4.

I disagree with this. In fact the best thing that has happened to the smartphone industry is the introduction of fast charging. Imagine having 10% battery left and charging for just 15 mins and u are already on 40%. Tell me that is not sweet and almost elimibate the need of a power bank or giant batteries that will make ur phone heavy.

And fast chargers do not damage mobile phones. If ur phone is equipped with quick charge the charger bumps up the voltage to 9v (like the Samsung quick charger I have). Now does that mean it will still use 9v if the phone doesn't have quick charge? NO. When u use a fast charger to charge a phone without quick charge it will charge at normal rate of 5v 2.0a so u have nothing to be scared about.

Again I disagree. The best time to charge the phone is when it's @ or just below the 50% mark and then charge to around 80%. Waiting for the battery to get too low all the time before charging will shoten the lifespan of the battery. But who cares anyway, u charge ur phone when u see light in this country.
