70% Nigerians Prefer Cash on Delivery to Online Payment—Jumia As Mobile Phone Penetration Hits 84% in 2017, 70% Nigerians Prefer Cash on Delivery to Online Payment according to Jumia Boss. By Modupe Gbadeyanka A report released by Africa’s leading e-commerce company, Jumia, on the Nigerian Mobile Sector has revealed that in 2017, 70 percent of Nigerians preferred the cash on delivery option to other forms of payment like the credit/debit cards, which accounted for 18 percent, and the mobile money option, which had 12 percent. OK ooo!!! Even though you get your refund back easily if anything goes wrong, people still have trust issues because of past experiences with many organisation or people in Nigeria, we can't even trust our bank let alone online store. However they have performed very well both jumia and konga has good refund policy which is unNigerian like, I can bet those two companies are not owned and managed by Nigerians otherwise that refund policy will not be this fanstanstic. |
