A male student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, yesterday, drowned inside a swimming pool during a birthday celebration.

According to reports, The sad incident happened at Cosmila Hotel. It was gathered that the deceased, identified as Ezekwe Jideofor John, who was celebrating the birthday of his course mate, had 250 in the UTME he wrote, last Friday.
