well, workforce assessment is not easy but you have to be fast so that u can beat the time. study your numerical reasoning very well, if possible do some practice online with saville assessment, do the ones u know first and later go back to the ones that you left undone, especially the numerical don't waste Ur time on them. exactly my thoughts. I have done some online searches. The analytical exercise will be in form of problems and we should give solutions to it or come to a conclusion what the cause of the problem is

It might be quite new & different from other previous recruitments but I'm sure the assessment processes are quite similar & people have gone through it. We just need an idea, that's all.

I don't think anyone is keeping information to themselves. This year assessment is different from the ones they've done before, tho there still similarities. I've searched for nairaland for previous thread but I did not find anything about workforce academy. We should just be prepared, it won't be taking the whole day like the previous ones because I have mine by 8am and some has by 11am.

From what I read there, their timing exceeds what might be allocated to us. It looked like theirs was more than a 5 hr process. However my time is 8am and I know people here are scheduled for 11am.

Like i said, don't bank on it. It's just to get an idea & not end up having a micro heart attack I'm Also slated for 8am,we'll probably be done by 10. Good luck to all

top talent AC was for a full day and the activities were very rigorous and more than that of the academy AC. I think this is more of written AC.

I'm not a good narrator but for future reference purposes here is the summary of the second stage assessments at workforce group academy
It consists of written exercise, situational Judgement test and analytical exercise.
For the written exerciseYou'll write an essay on whether dress code is needed in a work place or about the pros and cons of graduate Trainee jobs. For the SJT, they'll give you real work examples and you'll relate it to yourself and pick the best answer and least answer. For the analytical exercise, you'll be given some information about a company then another paper that your boss asked you to do a job for him and answer some questions from a client and give him feed back. It's really time consuming. All has to be done in like 2 to 3hrs. We were told they are still rolling out next stage invites so patience.

As said above, practice your essay skills, it might be on any topic, think fast & write faster.

For the analytical stage, learn how to comprehend, extract & compress the useful information while eliminating distracting ones. I personally just glanced through several pages out of like 10, not useful. Read the questions & first highlight out the possible answers.

Finally, the situational Judgement test! Chai! See name sef, and we'll thought it was easy to judge ehn, My brain almost started to lag by the time i was in the middle of the booklet,especially when the time was almost up. If you don't think carefully, you'll just mix up all the answers.

Let me give you a scenario.

You just bought your first car to sha pra pra, but still had some payment's to complete before it became yours totally.
Taking it for a ride one morning, A danfo driver accidentally designed your bumper to look like a squeezed agege bread and is currently begging you to let him off easy. How do you reconcile your debt with the new repairs & what is the easiest way out..

Indicate each of the responses below as 1)Most effective
2)Least effective
3)Ineffective
4)Counter productive

Responses A) Slap the bagger, take his keys keys & start speaking big grammar
B) Calmly tell him the cost of the repairs & ask him to pay up while calling the nearest frsc official to witness & put things in order
C) Come down from the car, look at your bashed car, smile at the begging driver and let him go.
D) Start lambasting and abusing the driver, his passengers, his fellow danfo drivers, the frsc officials and everybody in sight!

That's just an easy example guys, expect headache causing ones. Wish you the best& don't forget to share. It won't detract from your success.

Lemme just add dat the analytical exercise is for 75 minutes, critical writing exercise is for 30 minutes and SJT is for 40 minutes or so. Be time conscious please

The assessment aint joke at all especially the analytical part....I just hate business and finance but I like money ...My prayer is that they aggregate the scores. If not hmmn ......DISASTER!!!!!!!
