Remember back in 2017 when Jumia was giving or rather selling the renown Samsung Galaxy s8 for Ksh.5($0.05)? Well, they are back again with the Oppo F5 that would typically cost you around Ksh.50,000($500) claiming you can own it at the cheapest price ever. The deal here is that you visit Jumia’s website and search for the product among thousands and thousands of other products in order to claim the prize in case you find it first. I can’t tell for sure if this is a scam or not but from Jumia’s past deals of such kind, Kenyans on twitter seem to be smelling something fishy going on here because those people who win themselves these prizes seem to be coming from ‘ghost accounts’.
