Blogger.com offers free SSL and your can switch via the settings tab. But most importantly, you'd need to add your site's new https address as a new property on Google Search Console. While on Analytics you're only required to select the https extension, as old stats remain unchanged.

For selfhosted WordPress you'd have to check with your host provider for SSL activation, most offer the free Let's Encrypt service.

Making the switch shouldn't really affect traffic, it should only filter out junk traffic. Couple with the fact that your http will still work.

Also observed there's now huge reduction in zombie traffic!

Its glo. On mobile. Not going on chrome but going on opera. I think it's glo's fault.

And are you based in the u.s? I looked up your site and majority traffic is in the u.s and the country is in US too

Domain name is running on Google Domains and registered as US owned, so may be Google prioritized its location as US on search too. I like it anyways, as it brings more sponsored post offers! grin

Give it sometime. No need of updating theme except for some static meta information, other than that everything should propagate automatically from Blogger.
